Wetheral railway station

Wetheral railway station is on the Newcastle-Carlisle Tyne Valley Line in northern England, situated some seven minutes from Carlisle. The station serves the affluent village of Wetheral. Passenger services are provided by Northern Rail. Access to the station is by a dead-end road from Wetheral village green, or by a footpath from the B6263 opposite Plains Road. A footbridge links the two platforms.

Wetheral Priory Gatehouse

Wetheral Priory Gatehouse is almost all that remains of the Benedictine Wetheral Priory in Wetheral, Cumbria. Wetheral Priory, was founded in 1106 from its motherhouse of St. Mary's Abbey, York. The gatehouse is virtually the only standing remnant of the much grander Priory buildings, and was the main entry into the monastic outer court. The building as seen today dates from the 15th century. It has a pair of domestic chambers on two floors above the main entrance way.

Corby Bridge

Corby Bridge (popularly known as Wetheral Viaduct) is a railway viaduct adjacent to and immediately East of Wetheral railway station at Wetheral, near Carlisle, in north-west England, begun in 1830 and completed in 1834. It is 660 feet long and 100 feet high, and has been Grade I listed since 1 April 1957.

Our Lady and St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic church, Warwick Bridge

Our Lady and St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic church was designed by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin, completed in 1841 for a sum total of £2,586. The church was designed for the Sarum Rite, and contains an Easter Sepulchre. The designs were originally commissioned by Henry Howard of nearby Corby Castle, and included plans for a presbytery and grounds. The stained glass windows were presented by Philip Howard between 1860–1867 and contain images of St. Thomas More and St.
