Hutton Roof Crags

Hutton Roof Crags is a hill in south-eastern Cumbria in north-west England, located near to the village of Hutton Roof. It has extensive areas of limestone pavement as well as grassland and woodland. The hill forms the Hutton Roof Crags Site of Special Scientific Interest and includes the Park Wood National Nature Reserve. The hill is part of the Morecambe Bay Pavements Special Area of Conservation.

Farleton, Cumbria

Farleton is a village in the English county of Cumbria. Historically within the county of Westmorland, Farleton lies just to the east of the main A6070 road, from which it is divided by the Lancaster Canal, some 8+⁄2 miles south of Kendal. Farleton used to have one public house called 'the Duke' after the Grand Old Duke of York but this was turned into a dwelling house in the early part of the twentieth century. With Farleton there is a small river and one post box.

Dalton Hall (Cumbria)

Dalton Hall is a country house near Burton-in-Kendal, Cumbria in northern England. The hall has been in the ownership of the Hornby family since the late 18th century. The original hall was a Georgian mansion. Major additions were made to the hall in 1859–60 by the Lancaster architect E. G. Paley. This building was demolished in 1968 and replaced by a new house in 1968–72. The new house was designed by Clough Williams-Ellis, and was his last commission.
