Coventry
Coventry is a city and metropolitan borough in the county of West Midlands in England. Coventry is the 12th largest UK city overall (outside of London). It is also the second largest city in the West Midlands region, after Birmingham, with a population of 316,900 at the 2011 UK census. Historically within Warwickshire, Coventry is situated 95 miles northwest of central London and 19 miles east-southeast of Birmingham, and is further from the coast than any other city in Britain.
SkyDome Arena
The SkyDome Arena is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Coventry, England. It was built in 1999. It is home to the Coventry Blaze Ice hockey team. It was built as part of the SkyDome multiplex, along with the Odeon Cinema, The Spon Gate (Wetherspoons; named for the original Spon Gate, part of the city walls), Lava and Ignite (closed 27 April 2010). Coundon Road Stadium
The Coundon Road Stadium in Coventry was the home ground for Coventry R.F.C. from 1921 to 2004. The stadium has now been demolished. The first game at the ground was against United Services, Portsmouth, with Coventry R.F.C. losing 13-3. The biggest crowd at the ground was reputedly 18,000 for an England versus Wales School's International on 1939-03-12. In the modern era, just over 9,000 people attended the National League One match between Coventry R.F.C.
Bond's Hospital
Bond's Hospital is an almshouse established for old bedesmen. It is situated on Hill Street, Coventry, England, built around the same courtyard as the old disused buildings of Bablake School. The hospital was founded in 1506 by Thomas Bond, a draper who became Mayor of Coventry in 1497. Although most of the street frontage was rebuilt in 1832, the building essentially still retains all its original features, and the hospital is now a grade II* listed building.
Butts Park Arena
Butts Park Arena is a multi-use sports stadium in Spon End, Coventry, England. Its main use is as a rugby league stadium, the home ground for Coventry Bears, who moved there for the start of the 2004/05. It is the former home ground of the Coventry Jets. The stadium has also hosted the local universities' varsity day between Coventry and Warwick.
War Memorial Park, Coventry
The War Memorial Park is a large park of about 48.5 hectares situated in southern Coventry. The park was opened in July 1921 as a tribute to the 2,587 Coventrians who died between 1914 and 1918 fighting in the First World War. Coventry Council bought the land from the Lords of Styvechale Manor, the Gregory-Hood family, when it was little more than a large grassed area that once formed Styvechale common.
Spon End
Spon End is a suburb of Coventry, England. It is situated west of Coventry City Centre. The Butts Park Arena and the Butts Centre are situated on the main road through Spon End. The Butts Park Arena, which was opened in 2004, is the home of Coventry Rugby Football club. The Butts Centre is the home of City College Coventry (formally called Coventry Technical College, often referred to as "The Butts"). The railway line linking Coventry and Nuneaton passes through Spon End on a viaduct.
Hearsall Common
Hearsall Common is located in Earlsdon, Coventry in the West Midlands, central England. The common consists of a large grassy area with a smaller partly tarmacadamed area on one side of Hearsall Common Road, and a wooded nature reserve on the other side.
Coundon, Coventry
Coundon is a predominantly residential suburb in northwest Coventry, West Midlands, England. Along with neighbouring Keresley, it was originally a village in the Warwickshire countryside, but by the 1930s had been incorporated into the city of Coventry, when mass housebuilding took place to accommodate the city's growing population. From 1951 to 2005, Coundon was the location of the Browns Lane Jaguar car factory, which for its first 47 years was the carmaker's only plant.
Criterion Theatre (Coventry)
The Criterion Theatre is situated in Earlsdon, Coventry, England. It puts on about seven shows a year. The Company has won the Godiva Award for best theatre in the region several times. The current patrons are Pete Waterman, music producer and railway preservationist, born in Coventry and Ron Cook, stage and screen actor of Thunderbirds and Doctor Who fame, who first acted as an amateur at the Criterion. The Coventry born actor, Sir Nigel Hawthorne (1929–2001), was a former patron.
A4053 road
The A4053 is the Coventry Ring road and encompasses the old and new Coventry Cathedrals, Coventry University, West Orchard and Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centres, Coventry Skydome Arena, and many other businesses. Unlike many other city centre ring roads, Coventry ring road is made up of entirely grade-separated junctions except for one roundabout, this leads to the junctions being extremely close together and in effect one junction leads into another at many points.

St Thomas' Church, Coventry, was located in Albany Road, Coventry, West Midlands, England. It was designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building, but by 1973 was no longer in ecclesiastical use.
The Butts Ground
The Butts Ground was a cricket ground in Coventry, Warwickshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1872, when Coventry played a United South of England Eleven. The first county match held at the ground came in 1882 when Warwickshire played Staffordshire, although this match was not first-class. Warwickshire used the ground for first-class cricket from 1925 to 1930, playing the final first-class match held at the ground against Hampshire. The site is today occupied by buildings.

St. Mary's Priory and Cathedral
St Mary's Priory and Cathedral was a religious institution in Coventry, England, founded in the 12th century by transformation of the former monastery of St Mary, and destroyed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the early 16th century. It was located on a site north of Holy Trinity and the former St Michael's parish churches in the centre of the city, on a site bordered by Priory Row to the south, Trinity Street to the west, and the River Sherbourne to the north.
Ford's Hospital, Coventry
Ford's Hospital, Coventry, traditionally known as Grey Friars Hospital, is a grade I listed 16th-century half-timbered almshouse in Greyfriars Lane, Coventry. It was founded by the merchant William Ford (or perhaps 'Fourd') in 1509 to provide accommodation for six elderly people: five men and one woman. Despite the earlier name of "Grey Friars", it bears no relationship to the Franciscan Order but was so named because of its location on Greyfriars Lane.

The street was once part of a route that ran from Gosford, in Oxfordshire, to Birmingham—a route which remained intact (though superseded by more modern roads) until the 1960s.
St Barbara's Church, Earlsdon
St Barbara's Church, Earlsdon, is located in Earlsdon, a suburb of Coventry, West Midlands, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Coventry, South, the archdeaconry of Coventry, and the diocese of Coventry. The church was built in 1930–31 to replace a smaller church nearby. It was designed by Henry Paley of the Lancaster architects Austin and Paley, with a local man, Herbert Jackson, acting as clerk of works and consulting architect.
County Hall, Coventry
County Hall is a historic former courthouse in Coventry's Cathedral Quarter. It was designed by architect Samuel Eglinton and opened in 1783. Land adjacent to the building was used as a gaol; the Prison Governor's House is still attached to the building. It is thought that the building may have been a second guildhall in Coventry, in addition to St Mary's Guildhall.
Kirby House, Coventry
16 Little Park Street (also known as Kirby House) is a Georgian townhouse in central Coventry, West Midlands, England. It is one of two remaining Georgian buildings on the street and three in the city centre (the other two being 7 Little Park Street and 11 Priory Row). The name Kirby House comes from Thomas Hulston Kirby who bought it in 1874.
Vignoles Bridge
