Tatton Park

Tatton Park is a historic estate in Cheshire, England, to the north of the town of Knutsford. It contains a mansion, Tatton Hall, a manor house dating from medieval times, Tatton Old Hall, gardens, a farm and a deer park of 2,000 acres . It is a popular visitor attraction and hosts over 100 events annually. The estate is owned by the National Trust, who administer it jointly with Cheshire East Council. Since 1999 it has hosted an annual horticultural show.

Mere is a civil parish and linear village along the A556 road in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, North West England, about 7 km south-west of Altrincham. Bucklow Hill is at its northeast end, and the Mere crossroads is at the southwest end. The village of Mere is about a mile long and has a varied stock of housing.

Rostherne is a civil parish and village in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. To the north of the village is Rostherne Mere and to the south is Tatton Park. The A556 road passes to its west. St Mary's Church, Rostherne is a Grade I listed building, which Rectory was for many centuries in the possession of the Leighs of West Hall, High Legh.

Tatton Park Gardens

Tatton Park Gardens consist of formal and informal gardens in Tatton Park to the south of Tatton Hall, Cheshire, England. Included in the gardens are an Italian garden, a walled garden, a rose garden and the Japanese garden. The buildings in the garden are the Conservatory, the Fernery and the Showhouse. The gardens are owned by the National Trust and administered by Cheshire East Council. They are on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens and have been designated at Grade II*.

Mere New Hall

Mere New Hall stood to the east of the village of Mere and the junction of the A566 and A50 roads in Cheshire, England. It was largely destroyed by fire in 1975. It was built in 1834 for Peter Langford Brooke to replace Mere Old Hall, the architect being Thomas Johnson of Lichfield. It was a large symmetrical house in Elizabethan style, constructed in brick and decorated with diapering. Its features included a porte-cochère, turrets, and shaped gables.

Rostherne Mere

Rostherne Mere is a natural lake in Cheshire, England. It is the largest of the Cheshire meres with an area of 48 hectares and a maximum depth of 30 metres. It lies to the north of Rostherne village and to the south of the M56 motorway. Because of its importance for wildlife, the lake, together with neighbouring areas of woodland and pasture, has been declared a National Nature Reserve, a Ramsar site and a Site of Special Scientific Interest covering 152.9 hectares.
