Meadowhall Centre

Meadowhall is an indoor shopping centre in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It lies three miles (5 km) north east of Sheffield city centre and two miles (3.2 km) from Rotherham town centre. It is the largest shopping centre in the Yorkshire and the Humber region, and the seventh largest in the United Kingdom. Tinsley Viaduct

Tinsley Viaduct is a two-tier road bridge in Sheffield, England; the first of its kind in the UK. It carries the M1 and the A631 1033 metres over the Don Valley, from Tinsley to Wincobank, also crossing the Sheffield Canal, the Midland Main Line and the former South Yorkshire Railway line from Tinsley Junction to Rotherham Central. The Supertram route to Meadowhall runs below part of the viaduct on the trackbed of the South Yorkshire Railway line to Barnsley.

Don Valley Stadium

The Don Valley Stadium is a sports stadium in Sheffield, England. Originally built as an athletics stadium for the 1991 World Student Games it has since found a variety of uses. It was the home ground of Rotherham United F.C. from 2008 until they moved to the New York Stadium at the start of the 2012–13 season. It is also one of the stadiums used for home games by RLFC side Sheffield Eagles. It is the former home of the Parramore Sports football team.

Attercliffe Chapel

Attercliffe Chapel, also known as the Hill Top Chapel, is a Gothic chapel in Attercliffe, now a suburb of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The chapel was constructed in 1629, when Attercliffe was a township separate from Sheffield, although in the same parish. By the 1840s, the chapel was used only for funeral services. The chapel, surrounded by its cemetery, and lying on the south bank of the River Don, was largely rebuilt in 1909, but retains its period atmosphere. It is Grade II listed.

English Institute of Sport – Sheffield

The English Institute of Sport is a multi-sport facility in Sheffield, England. The facility designed by FaulknerBrowns Architects was opened in December 2003 at a cost of £24 million. Its main feature is a 200 m indoor track but it also hosts several other sporting arenas as well as a large gym and extensive sports medicine facilities. IceSheffield

IceSheffield is an ice arena in the Lower Don Valley, Sheffield, England. It was completed in May 2003 at a cost of £15 million. It consists of two Olympic-size ice rinks with seating for 1,500 people. Sheffield Tramway

Sheffield Tramway was an extensive tramway network serving the English city of Sheffield and its suburbs. The first tramway line, horse-drawn, opened in 1873 between Lady's Bridge and Attercliffe, subsequently extended to Brightside and Tinsley. Routes were built to Heeley, where a tram depot was built, Nether Edge and Hillsborough. In 1899, the first electric tram ran between Nether Edge and Tinsley. By 1902 all the routes were electrified.

Blackburn Brook

The Blackburn Brook is a stream in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England which joins the River Don near the Meadowhall shopping centre. Between Blackburn village and Grange Lane the brook originally formed the boundary between Sheffield and Rotherham. With the coming of the South Yorkshire Railway in the 1850s the course of the brook was straightened to run parallel with the trackbed through the valley, however the boundary continued to follow the original course.
