Bournemouth
Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town in the ceremonial county of Dorset, England. According to the mid-year estimates for 2010 from the Office for National Statistics, the town has a population of 168,100, making it the largest settlement in Dorset. It is also the largest settlement between Southampton and Plymouth. With Poole and Christchurch, Bournemouth forms the South East Dorset conurbation, which has a total population of approximately 400,000.
Bournemouth International Centre
The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) in Bournemouth, Dorset, is one of the primary venues for conferences, exhibitions, entertainment and events in southern England. Additionally, it is well known for hosting national conferences of major British political parties and trade unions. The venue's Windsor Hall has a concert capacity of 6,500 and is one of the bigger indoor music venues in the UK, often included on the arena tours of major artists.
Bournemouth railway station
Bournemouth railway station, originally known as Bournemouth East (1885 to 1899) and then Bournemouth Central (1899 to 1967), is the main railway station serving the town of Bournemouth in Dorset, England. The South east Dorset conurbation (also known as the South Dorset conurbation, Poole-Bournemouth urban area and Bournemouth urban area) is a multi-centred conurbation on the south coast of Dorset in England. The area is rapidly becoming an amalgamation with the area of South West Hampshire immediately on the fringe of the newly formed New Forest National Park.

Bournemouth (UK Parliament constituency)
Bournemouth is a former United Kingdom Parliamentary constituency. The seaside resort was created as a parliamentary borough in 1918 and the seat existed until it was divided in 1950. St Peter's Church, Bournemouth
St Peter's Church is a Church of England parish church in Bournemouth in the English county of Dorset. The building, which is a Grade I listed building, was completed in 1879 to a design by G.E. Street as the founding mother church of Bournemouth. It has unusual paintings, notable stained glass and alabaster, and a renowned musical tradition. The chancel has been described as 'one of the richest Gothic Revival interiors in England'.

Bournemouth Borough Council is the local authority of Bournemouth in Dorset, England. The council is now a unitary authority, although between 1974 and 1997 it was an administrative district council with Dorset. Previously most of the borough was part of Hampshire. The Borough can trace its history back to 27 August 1890 when the Municipal Borough of Bournemouth was created by Royal Charter. On 1 April 1900 it received County Borough status which lasted until 1974.
Dean Park Cricket Ground
Dean Park is a cricket ground in Bournemouth, England, currently used by Bournemouth University Cricket Club, as well as by Parley Cricket Club and Suttoners Cricket Club. It was formerly used by Hampshire, and has hosted 343 first-class matches since the first in 1897, but none since 1992. There have also been 77 List A games here, the most recent being in 2010.
Meyrick Park Halt railway station
Meyrick Park Halt was a railway station just west of Bournemouth railway station in the county of Hampshire in England. Located on what is now the South Western Main Line, it was opened by the L.S.W.R. on 1 March 1906. The 'Halt' was a minor stop on the line, intended to serve a rapidly developing suburban district of Bournemouth including Winton and Talbot Woods, it also provided access to Meyrick Park, an area of open space, where an extensive golf course was newly laid out.

Built in the 1920s, it retains its splendour and elegant styling and is Bournemouth's regular home for West End stage shows, Opera, Ballet, Pantomime and Comedy as well as for corporate presentations and dinner dances, product launches and small conferences.

St Stephen's Church, Bournemouth

Bournemouth East original railway station
Bournemouth East was the first railway station to be built in Bournemouth, England. Completed on 14 March 1870, it was sited at the south-east side of the Holdenhurst Road bridge, opposite the current station, at the end of an extension of an existing branch from Ringwood to Christchurch which had originally opened on 13 November 1862. The facilities offered by this station were very basic and not befitting a wealthy town which by 1871 had reached 5,900 inhabitants.

The West Hants Club

The Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart, or Sacred Heart Church, is a Roman Catholic church in the seaside resort of Bournemouth, England. Located on Albert Road close to the town centre, it was the first Roman Catholic church built in Bournemouth and is part of the Diocese of Portsmouth. It has been designated a Grade II* listed building by English Heritage.
