Sheffield Manor
Sheffield Manor, also known as the Manor Lodge or Manor Castle, is a lodge built about 1516 in what then was a large deer park east of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, to provide a country retreat and further accommodate George Talbot, the 4th Earl of Shrewsbury, and his large family. The remnant of this estate is now known as Norfolk Park.
Don Valley Stadium
The Don Valley Stadium is a sports stadium in Sheffield, England. Originally built as an athletics stadium for the 1991 World Student Games it has since found a variety of uses. It was the home ground of Rotherham United F.C. from 2008 until they moved to the New York Stadium at the start of the 2012–13 season. It is also one of the stadiums used for home games by RLFC side Sheffield Eagles. It is the former home of the Parramore Sports football team.
Attercliffe Chapel
Attercliffe Chapel, also known as the Hill Top Chapel, is a Gothic chapel in Attercliffe, now a suburb of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The chapel was constructed in 1629, when Attercliffe was a township separate from Sheffield, although in the same parish. By the 1840s, the chapel was used only for funeral services. The chapel, surrounded by its cemetery, and lying on the south bank of the River Don, was largely rebuilt in 1909, but retains its period atmosphere. It is Grade II listed.

Sheffield Attercliffe was a parliamentary constituency in the City of Sheffield. It was created at the 1885 general election and abolished at the 2010 general election, when it was replaced by a new Sheffield South East constituency.
Sheffield Brightside (UK Parliament constituency)
Sheffield, Brightside was a parliamentary constituency in the City of Sheffield. Created for the 1885 general election, and replaced at the 2010 general election by the new constituency of Sheffield Brightside and Hillsborough, it elected one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, using the first-past-the-post voting system. In its first fifty years, Brightside returned a variety of Liberal, Conservative and Labour MPs.
Motorpoint Arena Sheffield
Motorpoint Arena Sheffield (originally Sheffield Arena and formerly Hallam FM Arena) is an arena in Sheffield, England. It is situated near Rotherham, Sheffield City Centre, Attercliffe, Meadowhall and the Centertainment and is the premier concert venue for Yorkshire. The arena opened as Sheffield Arena and was renamed Hallam FM Arena, but returned to its original name as of 1 November 2007.
Sheffield Parkway
The Sheffield Parkway is a major dual carriageway which runs between the City of Sheffield and junction 33 of the M1 in South Yorkshire, England. The 5.5 mile road was opened in 1974, and runs to the east of the City, connecting Park Square in the City centre with the inner ring road, outer ring road and out to the M1 motorway at junction 33.
Burngreave (ward)
Burngreave ward—which includes the districts of Burngreave, Fir Vale, Grimesthorpe, Pitsmoor, and Shirecliffe—is one of the 28 electoral wards in City of Sheffield, England. It is located in the northern part of the city and covers an area of 7.3 km. The population of this ward in 2001 was 24,000 people in 9,900 households. It is one of the wards that make up the Sheffield Central constituency. Most of the ward is served by a free community newspaper, the Burngreave Messenger.

It is one of the wards that make up the Sheffield Brightside constituency.
English Institute of Sport – Sheffield
The English Institute of Sport is a multi-sport facility in Sheffield, England. The facility designed by FaulknerBrowns Architects was opened in December 2003 at a cost of £24 million. Its main feature is a 200 m indoor track but it also hosts several other sporting arenas as well as a large gym and extensive sports medicine facilities. It is in the Lower Don Valley between the Sheffield Arena and Don Valley Stadium.
IceSheffield
IceSheffield is an ice arena in the Lower Don Valley, Sheffield, England. It was completed in May 2003 at a cost of £15 million. It consists of two Olympic-size ice rinks with seating for 1,500 people. It is now home to most ice hockey teams in Sheffield with the exception being the Sheffield Steelers, who are still based at nearby Sheffield Arena, though the venue has hosted a number of Steelers games in recent seasons.
Lower Don Valley
The Lower Don Valley, or historically the East End of Sheffield, is the mainly industrial north-east quarter of Sheffield, England. Based around the River Don it encompasses the areas of Attercliffe, Brightside, Darnall, Tinsley and Wincobank. The area became the heart of Sheffield's steel industry during the 19th and 20th century.
Wincobank (hill fort)
Wincobank is an Iron Age hill fort in the district of Sheffield, England of the same name. The fort stands on the summit of a steep hill above the River Don, it is oval in shape and covers about 10,000 square metres (108,000 ft²), surrounded by a ditch that was originally 1.5–2 m deep and a bank consisting of a rubble core with stone facings held together with timbers.
Carbrook Hall
Carbrook Hall is a historic house in Sheffield, England. Located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:53|24|20|N|1|25|0|W|type:landmark_region:GB |primary |name= }} in the Attercliffe district of the city, the original building was owned by the Blunt family from 1176. This was rebuilt in 1462, and was bought by Thomas Bright (Lord of the manor of Ecclesall) in the late 16th century.
Sheffield urban area
The Sheffield Urban Area is a conurbation with a population of 640,720 (2001 census) making it the 8th largest conurbation in the United Kingdom and England's 6th largest. Named the Sheffield Urban Area by the Office for National Statistics, it must not be confused with the Sheffield City Region, a non-government term, although often used, particularly by the business community. The conurbation dominates South Yorkshire, with over half of the county's population living in this urban area.
Grimesthorpe engine shed
Grimesthorpe engine shed was an engine shed in Grimesthorpe, Sheffield. It was built by the Midland Railway and opened in 1860 to serve the Midland Main Line. Up until 1935, Grimesthorpe shed code was 25, then changed to 19A by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway. Grimesthorpe gained the shed code of 41B after transfer to British Railways Eastern Region in 1958.
Darnall engine shed
Darnall engine shed was an engine shed in Darnall, Sheffield. It was built by the London and North Eastern Railway to serve the Sheffield area, passenger trains originating or changing at Sheffield Victoria and goods and pilot workings. The shed was built adjacent to the main line immediately west of Darnall station. British Railways initially allocated the shed code 39B to Darnall, and later 41A, both within the Eastern Region code sequence.
City Road Cemetery
The City Road Cemetery is a cemetery in the City of Sheffield, England that opened in May 1881 and was originally Intake Road Cemetery. Covering 100 acres it is the largest and is the head office for all the municipally owned cemeteries in Sheffield. The cemetery contains Sheffield Crematorium, whose first cremation was on 24 April 1905.

Valley Centertainment is a leisure and entertainment complex in the Don Valley in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It was built on land previously occupied by steel mills which also includes what is now Meadowhall shopping centre and the Motorpoint Arena. It is home to several restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a bowling alley as well as other attractions.
Nunnery engine shed
Nunnery engine shed was a small locomotive depot close to the city centre of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. After gaining running powers over the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway to reach Sheffield, the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) set about building facilities, not only to serve its customers but to service the locomotives needed to operate these facilities.
Sheffield Outer Ring Road
Sheffield Outer Ring Road is one of two main routes circumventing Sheffield, a partial ring around Sheffield City Centre and its suburbs. It begins in Bradway as the B6054 Bradway Road, progressing anticlockwise as Greenhill Parkway, crossing the A61 Meadowhead/Chesterfield Road South into the A6102 Bochum Parkway, which turns north, passing through Norton. Heading east again, at Lightwood, it becomes the dual-carriageway A6102 Norton Avenue.

Nunnery Colliery was a coal mine close to the city centre of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The mining company, known as The Waverley Coal Company, also worked High Hazels Colliery about 3 miles (5 km) further east.

It was founded by W E S Turner in 1916.
Hyde Park Ground
Hyde Park Ground was a cricket ground in Sheffield, Yorkshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1830, when Sheffield Cricket Club played Nottingham Cricket Club in the ground's inaugural first-class match. Sheffield used the ground a number of times in first-class cricket, from 1830 to 1852, with their final first-class match there against Manchester Cricket Club in 1852.
