Majan
Majan is the mixed use development under construction in Dubailand, covering an area of 15.6 million sq ft the development will take three years to build with an expected cost of AED 15 billion. Majan will be the downtown of Dubailand, upon completion, Majan comprises, residential units, retail and entertainment. Around 32% of the area will comprises residential units, 44% will be retail and entertainment, and 24% commercial units. A total of 150 towers will shape the Majan skyline.
Falconcity of Wonders

It operates from November through March and features the Dubai International Racing Carnival and its Dubai World Cup Night. Nad Al Sheba Golf Club ceased operations on May 31, 2007 due to the rebuilding of the racing complex. It is now called Meydan Racecourse.

Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Crossing
Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Crossing, also known as Sixth Crossing, is a future bridge in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If completed, it will become the world's longest arch bridge, with a main span 667 metres long. The bridge's overall length will be 1.6 kilometres . The bridge will be 64 metres wide and will rise 15 metres above the water. The bridge, designed by FXFOWLE Architects, will cost AED 2.5 billion. It will a part of a AED 3 billion roads project near The Lagoons.

Bu Kadra
Bu Kadra is a small, developing locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Bu Kadra is situated south of Dubai Creek, adjacent to Ras Al Khor Industrial Areas. The community is part of Dubai Municipality's expansion, south of the Creek. Historically, Bu Kadra was not a residential area, but housed various community and sports clubs. Nad Al Hammar
Nad Al Hammar is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Nad Al Hammar is a small, residential and industrial community located east of Dubai Creek. It is bordered to the west by Ras Al Khor, the south by Ras Al Khor Industrial Areas, the east by Al Warqaa and the north by Nad Al Shamma. The routes E 311 (Emirates Road) and E 44 (Ras Al Khor Road) form the eastern and souther peripheries of Nad Al Hammar.
Al Jaddaf
Al Jaddaf, also spelled Al Jadaf, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai in Bur Dubai, Al Jaddaf is bordered to the north and east by the Dubai Creek, to the south by Zabeel, and to the west by Umm Hurair 2. Historically, Al Jaddaf, which literally means The Rower, was primarily a dhow building area. Its shipyards are today the only site for the building and maintenance of these traditional boats.

UPS Airlines Flight 6
UPS Airlines Flight 6 was a cargo flight operated by UPS Airlines. On September 3, 2010, a Boeing 747-400 flying the route between Dubai International Airport and Cologne Bonn Airport crashed close to Dubai airport, killing the two crew members. The aircraft had departed Dubai International earlier, but returned after reporting smoke in the cockpit. It was the first fatal air crash for UPS Airlines. The crash caused an examination of safety procedures protecting airliners from cockpit smoke.
