E 11 road (United Arab Emirates)
E 11 is a highway in the United Arab Emirates. The longest road in the UAE, E 11 stretches from Al Silah in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ends in Ras Al Khaimah emirate at the Oman border, running roughly parallel to UAE's coastline along the Persian Gulf. The road forms the main artery in some emirates' main cities, where it assumes various alternate names — Sheikh Maktoum Road in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, and Sheikh Muhammed bin Salem Road in Ras Al Khaimah.
Dubai World Trade Centre
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is a business complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, built by H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It is located along Sheikh Zayed Road at the Trade Centre Roundabout. The complex comprises the original tower (built in 1978), eight exhibition halls, the Dubai International Convention Centre and residential apartments. The 39-storey office tower stands 149 metres (489 feet) tall and a majority of the floors are let commercially.
Dubai International Convention Centre
The Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre was built in 1979 by the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. The Dubai World Trade Center is considered to be the focal point of business within the Middle East. Since its inauguration, the centre has played a role in stimulating regional and international trade through the UAE.
Dubai Drydocks
Dubai Drydocks is a drydocks facility located adjacent to Port Rashid in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The idea for Dubai Drydocks began in 1971. After feasibility studies and construction, the facility opened in 1983. It is the only large drydocks facility in the Persian Gulf.
Al Karama, Dubai
Al Karama, or simply Karama, is a residential district of Dubai close to Dubai Creek and part of the bustling older part of the city. It is outwardly distinctive due to the regularity of its low-rise residential buildings. Although it is primarily a residential area, it is known in Dubai as a centre for cheap furniture and the covert sale of counterfeit branded goods such as handbags and watches.

BurJuman is a shopping mall in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). BurJuman, like Al Ghurair City, is owned by the Al Ghurair Group. It was the second major shopping mall to be opened in Dubai, after Al Ghurair City. A large expansion, known as 'The New BurJuman' was built in the early 2000's and was opened in 2004.

Al Satwa
Al Satwa is a community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates comprising high-density retail outlets and private residential dwellings. It is located southwest of Bur Dubai and adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road. Originally, its residents were mainly of the Bloushi tribe. Notable features include the Iranian Hospital and the Al Satwa bus terminal. Al Satwa is known for its large South Asian community. E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) forms the southern boundary of Al Satwa.
Al Shindagha
Al Shindagha, sometimes spelled Al Shindagah or Al Shindaga, is a neighbourhood in the traditional centre of the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. From 1912 to 1958, the then ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum, lived in the area — his residence in Al Shindagha is now open to the public as a museum. It is bordered by the locality of Bur Dubai in the south, and by Port Rashid on the west. The Dubai Creek runs along the district's western periphery.

Dubai School of Government
The Dubai School of Government is a research and teaching institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which focuses on public policy in the Arab world. The school was established in 2005 under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. The founding Executive Dean was Yassar Jarrar.
Centre for Arab Genomic Studies
The Centre for Arab Genomic Studies (CAGS) is a not-for-profit study centre aimed at the characterization and prevention of genetic disorders in the Arab World. Established in 2003 in accordance with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE, the Centre is closely associated with the Sheikh Hamdan Award for Medical Sciences.
Al Souk Al Kabir
Al Souk Al Kabir, also referred to as Souk Al Kabir or Meena Bazaar, is a community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Souk Al Kabir is located in the area of Bur Dubai and is one of the oldest residential areas in the city and houses a predominantly South Asian population, restaurants and shops. The locality, referred to as Meena Bazaar by the local Pakistani and Indian community, also encompasses the historic Al Bastakiya district of Dubai.

Al Mankhool is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai, in the area of Bur Dubai, Al Mankhool is largely a residential area. However, several restaurants, hotels and financial service corporations are located in Al Mankhool. Route D 90 (Al Mankhool Road) runs east-west through the locality, while Khaled bin Al Waleed Street runs perpendicular to Al Mankhool road.

Important landmarks in Al Hudaiba include Chelsea Hotel and the consulate of Sri Lanka. The locality is bordered by Al Mina, Port Rashid, Al Jafiliya, and Al Bada.

Trade Centre 1 is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai, Trade Centre 1 forms the northern half of the commercial and residential district on Sheikh Zayed Road. The locality begins at Trade Centre Roundabout, at the intersection of Sheikh Zayed Road and route D 73 (Al Dhiyafa Road), and terminates at the 2nd Interchange (Defence Roundabout).

Trade Centre 2, also known as Dubai Financial Centre, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Trade Centre 2 is located in the western Dubai, along Sheikh Zayed Road. It borders Trade Centre 1 to the north, Business Bay to the south, and Zabeel to the east. Trade Centre 2 begins at Trade Centre Roundabout (Interchange No. 1), at the intersection of Sheikh Zayed Road and route D 63 (Al Dhiyafa Road) and terminates at Interchange No. 2 (Defence Roundabout).
Al Rifa
Al Rifa, also spelled Al Raffa, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai, in Bur Dubai, Al Rifa borders Al Souk Al Kabir to the north, Al Hudaiba to the south, Port Rashid to the west and Al Mankhool to the east. Al Rifa is largely a residential community; however several banks, restaurants and shopping centres (such as Al Khaleej Centre) are located in Al Rifa.

Al Kifaf is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Kifaf is located in western Dubai in Bur Dubai and is bordered to the north by Al Jafilia and Al Karama, to the south by Zabeel and to the east by Oud Metha. Sheikh Zayed Road's Trade Centre Roundabout forms the southwestern border of Al Kifaf, while the Al Karama Interchange forms the southeastern border.

Dubai Museum
Dubai Museum is the main museum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is located in the Al Fahidi Fort, built in 1787 and is the oldest existing building in Dubai. The museum was opened by the ruler of Dubai in 1971, with the aim of presenting the traditional way of life in the Emirate of Dubai. It includes local antiquities as well as artifacts from African and Asian countries that traded with Dubai. It also includes several dioramas showing life in the emirate before the advent of oil.
