Balandız
Balandız (Gümüşlü) is a village in Silifke district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated in Toros Mountains . At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|21|N|33|44|E||| | |name= }} it is 22 kilometres to Silifke and 105 kilometres to Mersin. The population of Balandız is 175 as of 2011. Balandız is an agricultural viilage. But during summers it is also a yayla (resort). Now an unused building is under renovation to be put into service as a village museum and a library .
