The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) (Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası - "TCMB") is the central bank of Turkey and is founded as a joint stock company with the exclusive right to issue banknotes in Turkey. The preparations to establish a central bank began in 1926, but organization was established on 3 October 1931 and opened officially on 1 January 1932. The State Art and Sculpture Museum is a museum dedicated to fine arts and sculpture in Ankara, Turkey. It was designed in 1927 by architect Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu and built between 1927 and 1930 as the Türkocağı Building, upon the direction of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and first President of Turkey. It is located close to the Ethnography Museum and houses a rich collection of Turkish art from the late 19th century to the present day. There are also galleries for guest exhibitions.
Ethnography Museum of Ankara
The Ethnography Museum of Ankara is a museum of ethnography dedicated to the cultures Turkish civilizations. The building was designed by architect Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu and was built between 1925 and 1928. The museum temporarily hosted the sarcophagus of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk from November 21, 1938 until November 10, 1953, during the period of the construction of Anıtkabir, its final resting place.

It consists of the old Ottoman Mahmut Paşa bazaar storage building, and the Kurşunlu Han. Because of Atatürk's desire to establish a Hittite museum, the buildings were bought upon the suggestion of Hamit Zübeyir Koşay, who was then Culture Minister, to the National Education Minister, Saffet Arıkan.

2007 Ankara bombing
The 2007 Ankara bombing was a suicide attack that occurred in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, on 22 May 2007. Six people were reported killed, including one of Pakistani origin, and 121 people were wounded. A seventh person died from his injuries on 7 June and another on 17 June raising the death toll to eight. A ninth person died on 4 July from his injuries.

Abidinpasa is a town in southeastern Ankara, Mamak District, Turkey. The town takes its name from a person whose name was Abidinpasa. He was assigned as the Governor of Ankara around mid 1800. He used to like fresh air, therefore he had his mansion (governor building) built in Abidinpasa, which is a place on top of the one of the highest hills in Ankara. The area, where mansion is, is a public park and the mansion serves as an historical place to tourists right now.

Ankara Castle
Ankara Castle is a fortification from ancient or medieval era in Ankara, Turkey. The exact date of its construction is unknown. Having been controlled by Romans and Byzantines earlier; it was captured by Seljuq Turks in 1073, by Crusaders in 1101 and again by Seljuqs in 1227. The castle saw extensive repair by the order of İbrahim Paşa in 1832 during the Ottoman era. The outer citadel surrounds the old Ankara.

State Planning Organization (Turkey)
State Planning Organization (Turkish: Devlet Planlama Teşkilatı, DPT), founded in September 30, 1960 and affiliated to the Prime Ministry, was one of the most important governmental organizations in Turkey. Its principal tasks were to provide advice to the government on determination of economic, social and cultural goals of the state, and to design Five-Years Plans according to the goals set by the government.
