Ankara
Ankara (historically known as Angora) is the capital of Turkey and the country's second largest city after Istanbul. The city has a mean elevation of 938 metres . Centrally located in Anatolia, Ankara is an important commercial and industrial city. It is the center of the Turkish Government, and houses all foreign embassies.

Anıtkabir
Anıtkabir (literally, "memorial tomb") is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of the Turkish War of Independence and the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey. It is located in Ankara and was designed by architects Professor Emin Onat and Assistant Professor Ahmet Orhan Arda, whose proposal beat 48 other entries from several countries in a competition held by the Turkish Government in 1941 for a "monumental tomb" for Atatürk.

Çankaya is the central metropolitan district of the city of Ankara, the capital of Turkey, and an administrative district of Ankara Province. According to the 2000 census, the population of the urban center is 797,109 (2010 est. ) which swells up to 2 million or more people during the day. The district covers an area of 268 km, and the urban center lies at an average elevation of 986 m . The President of the Republic of Turkey resides here, in the "Çankaya Köşkü" presidential compound.
State Art and Sculpture Museum
The State Art and Sculpture Museum is a museum dedicated to fine arts and sculpture in Ankara, Turkey. It was designed in 1927 by architect Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu and built between 1927 and 1930 as the Türkocağı Building, upon the direction of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and first President of Turkey. It is located close to the Ethnography Museum and houses a rich collection of Turkish art from the late 19th century to the present day. There are also galleries for guest exhibitions.
Ethnography Museum of Ankara
The Ethnography Museum of Ankara is a museum of ethnography dedicated to the cultures Turkish civilizations. The building was designed by architect Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu and was built between 1925 and 1928. The museum temporarily hosted the sarcophagus of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk from November 21, 1938 until November 10, 1953, during the period of the construction of Anıtkabir, its final resting place.

Embassy of Northern Cyprus, Ankara
The Embassy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Turkey is the TRNC's only official embassy abroad as Turkey is the only nation thus far to recognize the TRNC as an independent state. TRNC has representative offices in other countries with semi-diplomatic status. This embassy was established in late 1983 shortly after Turkey signed a treaty with the TRNC recognizing the November 15 1983 Declaration of Independence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Ankara Opera House
Ankara Opera House of the Turkish State Opera and Ballet is the largest of the three venues for opera and ballet in Ankara, Turkey, the other two being Leyla Gencer Sahnesi in Ostim and Operet Sahnesi (Operetta Theater) in Sıhhiye. The building was originally designed by the Turkish architect Şevki Balmumcu as an exhibition center, who came first in an international competition for the project in 1933.

Ankara Ice Palace (Turkish: G.S. İ.M. Buz Pateni Sarayı, formerly Belpa Buz Pateni Sarayı) is an indoor ice skating and ice hockey arena located in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Ankara, Turkey. It was opened in 1989 and has a capacity of about 1,150 people. It was built by the Municipality of Ankara as the first Olympic size 30 m × 60 m ( ft × ft) ice arena in Turkey. In 2001, the venue was handed over to the Youth and Sports Directorate (G.S.I.M. ) of Ankara Province.
Cebeci İnönü Stadium
Cebeci İnönü Stadium (Turkish: Cebeci İnönü Stadı) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ankara, Turkey. It is currently used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of Hacettepespor. The stadium holds 37,000 people and was built in 1967. It was named after the Turkish statesman İsmet İnönü.

Abidinpasa
Abidinpasa is a town in southeastern Ankara, Mamak District, Turkey. The town takes its name from a person whose name was Abidinpasa. He was assigned as the Governor of Ankara around mid 1800. He used to like fresh air, therefore he had his mansion (governor building) built in Abidinpasa, which is a place on top of the one of the highest hills in Ankara. The area, where mansion is, is a public park and the mansion serves as an historical place to tourists right now.

The TCDD Open Air Steam Locomotive Museum (Turkish: TCDD Açık Hava Buharlı Lokomotif Müzesi) is a railroad museum in the Maltepe district of Ankara, Turkey, which traces the history of steam locomotives. The museum is owned and operated by the Turkish State Railways (TCDD). It is part of the Ankara Railway Museum, which consists of also Ankara Railway History Museum, Atatürk's Car and Railway Art Museum.
Ankara Central Station
The Ankara Central Station is the central train station in Ankara. The station is the busiest in Turkey, serving 181 trains daily. It is a major hub for inbound and outbound trains. There is an Ankara Metro station at its vicinity. The Ankara Central Station is situated at the end of the Istanbul-Ankara rail corridor and is the eastern terminus of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. Designed in the Art Deco style, the current terminal building was inaugurated in 1937.
General Directorate of Highways (Turkey)
The General Directorate of Highways (Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Karayolları Genel Müdürlüğü) (KGM) is a state agency in charge of the construction and maintenance of all public roadways outside of cities and towns in Turkey. It was established on March 1, 1950 following the acceptance of the International Highways Act in 1949. The agency is a sub unit of the Ministry of Transport and Communication. Current head of the agency is Mehmet Cahit Turhan.

Selim Sırrı Tarcan Sport Hall (Turkish: Ankara Selim Sırrı Tarcan Spor Salonu) is an indoor arena for volleyball matches located in Altındağ district of Ankara, Turkey. Named after Selim Sırrı Tarcan (1874-1956), founder of the National Olympic Committee of Turkey and a major contributor to volleyball sport in Turkey, the venue has a seating capacity of 2,500 spectators. Designed by architect Gündüz Güngen, its construction began in 1958 and completed in 1964.
