Central Bank of the Turkey
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) (Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası - "TCMB") is the central bank of Turkey and is founded as a joint stock company with the exclusive right to issue banknotes in Turkey. The preparations to establish a central bank began in 1926, but organization was established on 3 October 1931 and opened officially on 1 January 1932. It was built in 1935 and is part of the 19 Mayıs Sports Complex, which is located in the Ulus district. The stadium has a capacity of 19,209 (all-seater). Ankaraspor also used this stadium until they moved to their new venue in the Yenikent district.

Ankara Atatürk Sport Hall (Turkish: Ankara Atatürk Spor Salonu) is an indoor sport arena located in the district of Ulus in Ankara, Turkey. The hall with a seating capacity for 4,500 people and a parking lot for 500 cars was built in 1969. Home of the clubs Büyük Kolej and Türk Telekom, it is the second biggest indoor sport hall in Ankara after ASKI Sport Hall, where competitions of basketball, volleyball and handball are held.

2007 Ankara bombing
The 2007 Ankara bombing was a suicide attack that occurred in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, on 22 May 2007. Six people were reported killed, including one of Pakistani origin, and 121 people were wounded. A seventh person died from his injuries on 7 June and another on 17 June raising the death toll to eight. A ninth person died on 4 July from his injuries.

Ulus is a quarter in Ankara, Turkey and is located at the center of the capital city. It was once the heart of old Ankara. The name means "nation" in Turkish. It is now a predominately a commercial and touristic area made up of banks, malls, shops, hotels, businesses, restaurants, and many historical sites. The first Turkish Grand National Assembly convened here in 1923 in the parliament building at Ulus Square, which still stands in original.

Akköprü (Turkish: ak köprü, "white bridge", Ottoman Turkish: اق کوپری) is a historical bridge in Yenimahalle district of Ankara, Turkey, crosses the Ankara River in front of Varlık neighbourhood. It is the oldest bridge in Ankara and still in good condition. The neighbourhood around the bridge was also named 'Akköprü'. The area is home to the great Atatürk Cultural Centre and Ankamall shopping centre, the biggest mall in Ankara.

ANKAmall is the second largest shopping centre in Turkey after Cevahir Mall from İstanbul. There is located in Ankara, covering an area of 176,000 square metres . It was opened on 27 August 1999 as Migros Shopping Centre.

The Ankara Central Station is the central train station in Ankara. The station is the busiest in Turkey, serving 181 trains daily. It is a major hub for inbound and outbound trains. There is an Ankara Metro station at its vicinity. The Ankara Central Station is situated at the end of the Istanbul-Ankara rail corridor and is the eastern terminus of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. Designed in the Art Deco style, the current terminal building was inaugurated in 1937.

The street was the base of the parliament members from the Republican People's Party (CHP) and its leader and former President İsmet İnönü, who regularly visited the street for personal and official activities. Ayten Sokak is about 5 minutes from the city centre.
