Bank of Tanzania

The Bank of Tanzania (Swahili: Benki Kuu ya Tanzania) is the central bank of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is responsible for issuing the national currency, the Tanzanian shilling. The bank was established under the Bank of Tanzania Act 1965. However, in 1995, the government decided that the central bank had too many responsibilities, and was thus hindering its other objectives.

Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium

National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, named after the 3rd president of Tanzania, Benjamin William Mkapa. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It currently holds 60,000 people. The stadium opened in 2007. The structure cost TZS 56.4bn/-. It was constructed by the Beijing Construction Engineering Company Limited.
