Kaohsiung International Airport, also known as Kaohsiung Siaogang Airport for the Siaogang District where it is located, is a medium-sized commercial airport located in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Kaohsiung International Airport is the second largest airport in Taiwan in terms of passenger movement and accounts for around 15% of international passenger movements in Taiwan.
Chungcheng Stadium
Chungcheng Stadium (中正運動場) is a multi-use stadium in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium is able to hold 30,000 people and was opened in 1986. On October 20 1996, Michael Jackson made a stop at the stadium for his HIStory World Tour playing to a sell out crowd of 35,000 fans.

Port of Kaohsiung
The Port of Kaohsiung is the largest harbor in Taiwan, handling approximately 10 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) worth of cargo in 2007. The port is located in southern Taiwan, adjacent to Kaohsiung City, surrounded by the city districts of Gushan, Yancheng, Lingya, Cianjhen, Siaogang, and Cijin. It is operated by Taiwan International Ports Corporation, the Taiwan's only state-owned harbor management company.

It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home venue of Taipower. The stadium is able to hold 18,000 people and was opened in 1976.

Caoya (草衙) is a small town in the southern direction of Qianzhen District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The name "Caoya", which originally means a draft government building of Zheng Chenggong in Ming dynasty, now consists of more than 12,000 people. Caoya is also the nearest town to one of the largest fish-market (Qianzhen Harbor).

The campus of the school is enclosed by National Kaohsiung Normal University. At the present, NKNUASHS is one of the top high schools of Kaohsiung City.
