District 2 (Zurich)
District 2 is a district on the western side of Lake Zurich in the Swiss city of Zurich. The district comprises the quarters Wollishofen, Leimbach and Enge.
Wollishofen
Wollishofen is a suburb in Zurich's 2nd district. It was formerly a municipality of its own, having been incorporated into Zurich in 1893. The suburb has a population of 15,592 distributed on an area of 5.75 km².
Friesenberg
Friesenberg is a quarter in the district 3 of Zurich. It was formerly a part of Wiedikon municipality, which was incorporated into Zurich in 1893. The quarter has a population of 10,360 distributed on an area of 5.15 km².
Sihlcity
Sihlcity is a shopping mall located in Zurich which was built on the ground of a former paper mill near the Sihl river in the Wiedikon district and opened on March 22 in 2007. This shopping and entertainment center is the first of its kind in Switzerland.
Uetliberg TV-tower
Uetliberg TV-tower is a 186.7 metre high freestanding concrete TV-Tower on Uetliberg near Zürich, Switzerland built in 1990. The tower is used for radio and TV transmission. It is owned by Swisscom and generally not accessible by the public.
Knabenschiessen
Knabenschiessen is a traditional target shooting competition in Zürich. held on the second weekend of September each year. The festival, officially held for the first time in 1889, is one of the oldest in Switzerland, dating back to the 17th century. The competition is open to 13-17 year olds, who either reside or are enrolled in a school in the canton of Zürich. Originally reserved for boys (Knaben), the competition has been open to female participants since 1991.

Manegg Castle
The ruins of castle Manegg is situated on the eastern slopes of the Albis range in the canton of Zurich, near Leimbach. The castle was in existence by 1303. It was the family seat of the house of Manesse. It is unclear whether the family is named for the castle or vice versa. The family's name is best known as being eponymous of the Codex Manesse, patronized by Rüdiger II Manesse (b. before 1252, d. after 1304), the most important single source of medieval Minnesang poetry.
