Eschenberg Observatory
Eschenberg Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by Astronomical Society of Winterthur. It is located in northeastern Switzerland in Winterthur and was founded in 1979.
Altstadt
Altstadt is the German language word for "old town", meaning "historical city centre within the city wall", in contrast to younger suburbs outside. Neustadt (new town), the logical opposite of "Altstadt", mostly stands for a part of the "Altstadt" in modern sense, sometimes only few years younger than the oldest part, sometimes a late medieval enlargement.
Eulachhalle
Eulachhalle is an arena in Winterthur, Switzerland. It is primarily used for team handball and is the home arena of Pfadi Winterthur and Yellow Winterthur. Eulachhalle holds 2,300 people. In 2008, the arena was the host of the finals of the men's and women's EuroFloorball Cup final rounds. The Arena has also twice been the host of the UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships, in 1997 and 2007. At the 2007 world championships there was a record number of 3,280 spectators in the arena.

Stadion Schützenwiese is a football stadium in Winterthur, Switzerland. It is the home ground of FC Winterthur and has a capacity of 14,987. Due to security reasons it has a reduced capacity of 8,550. The stadium has 1,100 covered seats, 800 uncovered seats and 6,650 standing places.

Winterthur Central Station (German: Winterthur Hauptbahnhof or Winterthur HB) is a railway station for Winterthur, a city in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Opened in 1855, the station is owned and operated by the SBB-CFF-FFS. It is served by all express trains to and from Winterthur, and by a number of Zürich S-Bahn lines. There are also direct trains to Germany. However, most trains to and from Eastern Switzerland bypass the station.
Battle of Winterthur (1799)
The Battle of Winterthur (27 May 1799) was an important action between elements of the Army of the Danube and elements of the Habsburg army, commanded by Friedrich Freiherr von Hotze, during the War of the Second Coalition, part of the French Revolutionary Wars. The small town of Winterthur lies 18 kilometers northeast of Zürich, in Switzerland.

Winterthur Grüze railway station
Winterthur Grüze railway station (German: Bahnhof Winterthur Grüze) is a railway station that serves Grüze, an industrial zone in district number 2, Winterthur, a city in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Opened in 1855, the station was built as a junction station and is the largest freight hub in Winterthur. It forms part of both the Tösstalbahn and the Winterthur–Wil railway. At the moment, it has no direct connection to the city bus service.
Töss Convent
The Töss Convent was a Dominican religious community located in the city of Töss. No part of the building exists today. Construction of the convent began near the bridge of the Töss river at the instigation of Hartmann, Count of Kyburg, in 1233 and continued until 1268. The Swiss mystic Elsbeth Stagel and Blessed Elizabeth of Hungary, the last member of the House of Árpád, were both nuns of the Töss Convent.
