Cossonay–Gare–Ville funicular
The Cossonay–Gare–Ville funicular is a funicular railway connecting the municipality of Cossonay in the Swiss canton of Vaud with the railway line from Lausanne to Vallorbe and Yverdon-les-Bains. The lower station is called Cossonay-Gare, but is in the village of Penthalaz. The upper station, some 130 metres above, is named Cossonay-Ville . The line was opened in 1897, and was initially operated as a water counterbalance funicular.
Musée Bolo
The Musée Bolo is an exhibition at the School of Computer And Communication Sciences at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne. Each exhibit has a different theme such as original microcomputers, video game consoles, and computers organized by country. Posters next to each display case explain the exhibits. Currently it houses around fifty computers. It contains the private collection of the hardware engineer Yves Bolognini.
