Lake Zug
Lake Zug is a lake in Central Switzerland, situated between Lucerne and Zurich. The Lorze as the main feeder river empties its waters into the lake at its northern extremity, but 1 km (0.6 mi) further west issues from the lake to pursue its course towards the Reuss. Due to this poor feeding, Environmental protection is very important as the lake would suffer long term damage if polluted as the second of the rivers, Rigiaa, feeds only a marginal amount into the lake at its southern end.
Lake Lucerne
Lake Lucerne (German: Vierwaldstättersee, lit. "Lake of the Four Forested Cantons") is a lake in central Switzerland and the fourth largest in the country. The lake has a complicated shape, with bends and arms reaching from the city of Lucerne into the mountains. It has a total area of 114 km² (44 sq mi), an elevation of 434 m (1,424 ft), and a maximum depth of 214 m (702 ft). Its volume is 11.8 km³.

Goldau
Goldau is a city in the community of Arth, canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. It lies between two mountains, the Rigi (known as Queen of the Mountains) and the Rossberg. Well known attractions include the Natur- und Tierpark Goldau and the Arth-Goldau valley station of the Arth-Rigi Bahn connecting to the Rigi mountain.

Rigi Railways
Rigi Railways is a group of railways on Mount Rigi, located between two of the arms of Lake Lucerne, in Switzerland. They include two standard gauge rack railways, the Vitznau-Rigi Bahn (VRB) and the Arth-Rigi Bahn (ARB), along with the Luftseilbahn Weggis-Rigi Kaltbad (LWRK) cable car. The Vitznau-Rigi Bahn is notable as the first mountain rack railway in Europe, and only the second in the world, after the Mount Washington Cog Railway in the United States.
Hammetschwand Elevator
The Hammetschwand Lift is the highest exterior elevator of Europe and is located in Switzerland. It connects a spectacular rock path with the lookout point Hammetschwand on the Bürgenstock plateau overlooking Lake Lucerne.
Eishalle Herti
Eishalle Herti was an indoor sporting arena located in Zug, Switzerland. The capacity of the arena was 6,780 and has been built in 1967. It was the home arena of the EV Zug ice hockey team. In Mai 2010 it was demolished and replaced by the newly built Bossard Arena.
Herti Allmend Stadion
Herti Allmend Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Zug, Switzerland. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Zug 94 and SC Cham in 2007-08 Challenge League season. The stadium holds 4,900 people and was opened in 1979.
Engelberger Aa
Engelberger Aa (or Engelbergeraa) is a river in Switzerland. It rises west of Surenenpass in the Canton of Uri, flows through the valley of Engelberg and Nidwalden. At Buochs, it empties into Lake Lucerne and is thus a tributary of the river Reuss, which drains that lake.
Meggenhorn Castle
Meggenhorn Castle is a castle in Meggen near the Swiss city of Lucerne. It was built in 1868/70 by Edouad Hofer-Grosjean from Mulhouse and in 1926 equipped with a Welte Philharmonic Organ. It is surrounded by vine yards and is considered to be the municipality's symbol. Today, it is mostly used as a tourist attraction and reception venue. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.

A14 motorway (Switzerland)
The A14 motorway, an Autobahn in central Switzerland, is a divided highway connecting the A2 with the A4, within the Canton of Lucerne. The A14 is congruent with the National Road N14 and part of the main traffic artery between the Innerschweitz and the metropolitan area Zurich. It runs mostly along the Reuss (river), which it twice crosses. The second bridge on the Reuss River is the second highest bridge in the Canton of Zug.
Neuhabsburg Castle
Neuhabsburg Castle is a privately owned castle located in Meggen, Lucerne, Switzerland, built on the ruins of a much older castle. In 1244 the income from the land was granted to the Fraumünster Abbey in Zurich. In 1244/5 the original castle was built by the Habsburg family on the shore of Lucerne Lake. The castle may have been built to replace the old Meggenhorn fort.
St. Andreas Castle
St. Andreas Castle (German: Schloss St. Andreas) is a privately owned castle located in Cham, in the Canton of Zug, Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. The castle hill has been used since at least 400 AD, based on Roman artifacts found there. The site of the neighboring chapel has been used for religious ceremonies since the Roman era. During the 8th century the chapel site was used by a "holy bishop without a name" for Christian services.

Arth-Goldau railway station
Arth-Goldau railway station (German: Bahnhof SBB Arth-Goldau) is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Schwyz and municipality of Arth. The station is located in the centre of the village of Goldau, which forms part of Arth. The station is an important junction, where the Zug–Arth-Goldau line joins the main line of the Gotthard railway, and also where the Südostbahn line to Rapperswil diverges.
Bossard Arena
Bossard Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Zug, Switzerland. The capacity of the arena is 7,015 spectators and opened in 2010. It hosts indoor sporting events such as ice hockey. It hosts the EV Zug of the National League A. It replaced Eishalle Herti as the home of EV Zug.
Zug railway station
Zug railway station serves the municipality of Zug, the capital city of the canton of Zug, Switzerland. Opened in 1897, the station is owned and operated by SBB-CFF-FFS. It forms the junction between the Zurich–Lucerne railway and the Zug to Arth-Goldau branch of the Gotthard railway. Every day, some 20,000 people flock to the station, making it one of the ten busiest in Switzerland.

Huwiler Tower
Huwiler Tower is the smallest of the four outer town wall towers in the city of Zug (Switzerland). Its exact age is unknown, but cannot be later than 1524/25. The tower was known for a long time as the "Hof" tower, and was called that until it was acquired by a citizen named Huwiler in 1697. Huwiler tower was part of the defense system and the city wall, but as Zug was actually never under siege. In 1870 the tower was auctioned and purchased by a private owner.
Bürgenstock railway
The Bürgenstock railway is a funicular railway in the canton of Nidwalden, Switzerland. The line links the landing stage at Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock, served by the regular passenger boats of the Schifffahrtsgesellschaft des Vierwaldstättersees, with the Bürgenstock resort and its famous hotels. The railway was opened in 1888 and was originally a water-ballast funicular with an Abt rack braking rail. Today the funicular is electric and automatic, but it still uses the original cabins.
Rigi Kaltbad
Rigi Kaltbad is a resort in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Lucerne. The resort sits on a sunny terrace at a height of 1,433 metres, overlooking Lake Lucerne above Weggis in Central Switzerland. The locality is part of the municipality of Weggis. Rigi Kaltbad is located on the flanks of the Rigi and is connected to Vitznau by the Rigi Railways. It is also connected to Weggis by a cable car
