The funeral chapel of the Alas family can be found on the northern flank of the temple of the Franciscian Fathers in Avilés, Spain, (the old parish of Saint Nicholas of Bari) This area, which is adjacent to a medieval wall, was used as the town cemetery until 1813 when it was moved to a field next to where the Merced convent once stood.
