Cementerio de la Almudena
The Cementerio de Nuestra Señora de La Almudena (English: Our Lady of Almudena Cemetery) is a cemetery in Madrid, Spain. It is the largest in Madrid and one of the largest in Western Europe. The number of persons buried is estimated to be about five million, larger than the population of Madrid itself, since it was the main cemetery for the entire city from 1884 to 1973, and from the 1920s was almost the only one for the majority of the population of Madrid.
Las Ventas
The Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas is a famous bullring in Madrid (Spain). Situated in the Guindalera quarter of the district of Salamanca, it was inaugurated on June 17, 1931. It has a seating capacity of 25,000 and is regarded as the home of bullfighting in Spain. This bullring was designed by the architect José Espeliú in the Neo-Mudéjar (Moorish) style with ceramic incrustations. The seats are situated in ten "tendidos".
Torrespaña
Torrespaña (literally "Spain Tower") is a 231 m steel-and-concrete television tower located in Madrid, Spain. National terrestrial television channels RTVE, Telecinco and Antena 3, as well as the autonomic channel Telemadrid, along with a few radio stations, broadcast from the tower. The tower was built in 1982, commemorating the FIFA World Cup celebrated in Spain that year.

2006 Madrid-Barajas Airport bombing
The 2006 Madrid-Barajas Airport bombing occurred on 30 December 2006 when a van bomb exploded in the Terminal 4 parking area at the Madrid-Barajas Airport in Spain, killing two and injuring 52. On 9 January 2007, the Basque nationalist and separatist organisation ETA claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack, one of the most powerful carried out by ETA, damaged the airport terminal and destroyed the entire parking structure.
Barrio de la Concepción (Madrid Metro)
Barrio de la Concepción is a station on Madrid Metro Line No. 7 in the district of Ciudad Lineal. It is near the local hotel Novotel Puente de la Paz. It is also near the M-30 motorway, 10 minutes from the Barajas Airport The station opened to the public on 17 May 1975 with the second section of the line between Pueblo Nuevo and Avenida de América and was renovated in 2006 to change the vaults and walls.

Estadio La Peineta, also known as Estadio de la Comunidad or Estadio Olímpico de Madrid, is a stadium in Madrid, Spain. The stadium had a capacity of 20,000 spectators, but a reconstruction for Atletico's move will expand the stadium to 70,000 spectators. The stadium will replace Vicente Calderón Stadium as the home of Atlético in the summer of 2015.

Madrid runway disaster
The Madrid runway disaster was the collision on 7 December 1983 of two aircraft on the ground at Madrid-Barajas Airport. A departing Iberia Boeing 727 struck an Aviaco McDonnell Douglas DC-9, causing the deaths of 93 passengers and crew.

The project leaders rejected the original name "Lucio de Mingo" (a famous military and war hero for some parts of the population) because of possible conflict.
La Moraleja
La Moraleja is an affluent residential district of Alcobendas municipality in northern Madrid, Spain. The Spanish version of Beverly Hills, it is home to some of Spain's wealthiest people with sprawling mansions and several luxury golf courses such as La Moraleja Golf Club Madrid. One author describes it as a "moneyed enclave of the rich and famous, including politicians, actors, top businessmen" with property prices which "range from the merely extortionate to the outright laughable.
