Maçanet-Massanes railway station
Maçanet-Massanes (formerly Empalme) is a railway station propierty of adif (Spanish public company) and located in the municipality of Maçanet de la Selva, far from downtown. It is situated in the Barcelona-Girona-Portbou Line, branching with Barcelona - Mataró - Maçanet Massanes Line. It serves Rodalies de Catalunya and Mitja Distància (MD) services of Renfe Operadora, namely R1 and R2 Nord (Rodalies) and Ca2 (MD)
Hostalric
Hostalric is a village in the province of Girona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 3.39 square kilometres and as of 2011 had a population of 4030 people. The Parish church of Santa Maria Placed at the foothills of the castle hillock, the church of Santa Maria was first mentioned in 1217. There are no remains of the original temple, which was enlarged at the end of the 14th and the middle of the 15th centuries.
