Sajik Arena

Sajik Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Busan, South Korea. The seating capacity of the arena is 14,099 and was built in 1985. It is the home arena of the Busan KT Sonicboom, a Korean professional basketball team. Heosimcheong Spa

Heosimcheong Spa (허심청) is said to be the largest hot spring fed spa in Asia. Located about 10 km north of downtown Busan, South Korea in its Dongnae district, it has facilities to accommodate 3000 guests on five floors. Known to have been bathed in by kings of Silla (57 – 935), the spring has been developed into a 4,300 m urban complex with 4 million visits a year. The current building was completed in 1991.

Battle of Korea Strait

The Battle of Korea Strait was a small naval battle fought on the first day of the Korean War, 25-26 June 1950, between the navies of South Korea and North Korea. A North Korean troop transport carrying hundreds of soldiers attempted to land its cargo near Busan but was encountered by a South Korean patrol ship and sunk. It was one of the first surface actions of the war and resulted in an important South Korean victory.
