Umkhonto we Sizwe
Umkhonto we Sizwe (abbreviated as MK), translated "Spear of the Nation," was the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC), co-founded by Nelson Mandela, which fought against the South African government. MK launched its first guerrilla attacks against government installations on 16 December 1961. It was subsequently classified as a terrorist organization by the South African government and the United States, and banned.
Gauteng
Gauteng is one of the nine provinces of South Africa. It was formed from part of the old Transvaal Province after South Africa's first all-race elections on 27 April 1994. It was initially named Pretoria-Witwatersrand-Vereeniging and was renamed "Gauteng" in December 1994. Situated in the heart of the Highveld, Gauteng is the smallest province in South Africa, with only 1.4% of the land area, but it is highly urbanised, containing the cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Kyalami (My home in Zulu) is a motor racing circuit located in Midrand, Gauteng province, South Africa. The circuit has been used for Grand Prix and Formula One races and has hosted the South African Grand Prix many times. Among the Formula One races held at the track the 1977 South African Grand Prix stands out, as it is principally remembered for the fatal accident that claimed the lives of race marshal Frederick Jansen van Vuuren and driver Tom Pryce.

Coca-Cola Dome
The Coca-Cola dome is an event venue located in the north of Johannesburg, South Africa. The seating capacity is 19 000. The Dome opened in 1997 and covers about 11,000 square metres. The previous sponsor of The Dome was MTN (a South African cellular network) and the venue was named MTN Sundome. It is owned by Sasol Pension Fund and currently managed by Thebe Exhibitions (until 2014).

Shrine of Our Lady of the Cedars or Our Lady of Lebanon, is a Roman Catholic shrine in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is at the Church of Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon in Woodmead, Sandton. Unofficially known as Our Lady of the Highway, the shrine is close to the busy Johannesburg - Pretoria freeway. Building commenced in November 1992 by the Superior, Rev. Fr. Elie Madi and was consecrated by the historic visit of Patriarch Cardinal Nasrallah Peter Sfeir.

Nowadays Liliesleaf Farm is a Museum and world famous Heritage Site, attracting many visitors annually, and rated as a top "things to do in Johannesburg" site.
South African Lipizzaners
The South African Lipizzaners is the name of a riding academy that operates according to the classical model in Kyalami, Midrand, South Africa. In contrast to other classical riding schools, only women ride and train the 40 Lipizzaner stallions. Public performances take place every week on Sundays. There is also an affiliated stud farm that provides horses for the academy as well as preserving a valuable genetic outcross pool for European studs.
