Michael's Gate
In Bratislava, Slovakia, Michael's Gate is the only city gate that has been preserved of the medieval fortifications and ranks among the oldest town buildings. Built about the year 1300, its present shape is the result of baroque reconstructions in 1758, when the statue of St. Michael and the Dragon was placed on its top. The tower houses the Exhibition of Weapons of Bratislava City Museum.

National Council (Slovakia)
The National Council, abbreviated to NR SR, is the national parliament of Slovakia. It is unicameral, and consists of 150 MPs, who are elected by universal suffrage under proportional representation every four years. Slovakia's parliament has been called the 'National Council' since 1 October 1992. From 1969 to 1992, its predecessor, the parliament of the Slovak part of Czechoslovakia, was called the Slovak National Council (Slovenská národná rada).

It is the 32nd-tallest, and thus shortest, member of the World Federation of Great Towers, and is the only bridge to be a member.
Bratislava Castle
Bratislava Castle is the main castle of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The massive rectangular building with four corner towers stands on a quite isolated rocky hill of the Little Carpathians directly above the Danube river in the middle of Bratislava. It is an outstanding feature of the city. It provides an excellent view of Bratislava, of Austria and, when there is good weather, of Hungary. Many legends are connected with the history of the castle.
Slavín
Slavín is a memorial monument and military cemetery in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It is the burial ground of thousands of Soviet Army soldiers who fell during World War II while liberating the city in April 1945 from the occupying German Wehrmacht units and the remaining Slovak troops who supported the clero-fascist Tiso government. It is situated on a hill amidst a rich villa quarter of the capital and embassy residences close to the centre of Bratislava.
Grassalkovich Palace
The Grassalkovich Palace is a palace in Bratislava and the residence of the president of Slovakia. It is situated on Hodžovo námestie, near the Summer Archbishop's Palace. The building is a Rococo/late Baroque summer palace with a French garden. It was built in 1760 for Count Antal Grassalkovich, a Hungarian noble serving as the head of the Hungarian Chamber (a sort of ministry of economy and finance for the Kingdom of Hungary), by architect Anton Mayerhofer.
Bratislava I
Bratislava I is a district in the city of Bratislava. It is identical with its sole borough, Bratislava's Old Town. It is completely surrounded by other Bratislava districts: Bratislava II, Bratislava III, Bratislava IV and Bratislava V.
Franciscan Church (Bratislava)
The Franciscan Church is the oldest religious (sacral) building in the Old Town of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The church was consecrated in the year 1297 in the presence of King Andrew III of Hungary. In the past, the church building served for larger gatherings of townspeople or Hungarian nobles. In 1526 Ferdinand I, Holy Roman Emperor was elected here to become the King of Hungary.
Universitas Istropolitana
The Universitas Istropolitana (since the 16th century frequently - but incorrectly - referred to as Academia Istropolitana) in Bratislava was arguably the third university to be found in the Kingdom of Hungary and the first university to be founded in the territory of present-day Slovakia. Despite its brief existence (1465–1491), it features prominently in Slovak historiography.
Lafranconi Bridge
Lafranconi Bridge (Slovak: Most Lafranconi, previously Most mládeže or Youth Bridge) is a concrete motorway bridge in Bratislava, Slovakia, located on the D2 motorway. It was built in 1985-1991, with its right half opened in 1990 and the rest in 1992. It is 766 m long (1134 m with access viaducts), and has a 30 m wide four-lane motorway. There are lanes for cyclists and pedestrians as well. It crosses the Danube.
Bratislava hlavná stanica
Bratislava hlavná stanica (Bratislava main station) (in Slovak; abbreviated Bratislava hl. st. ; Former names German: Pressburger Hauptbahnhof; Hungarian: Pozsony főpályaudvar) is the central railway station of Bratislava, Slovakia. It is located at the northern edge of the Old Town, near Šancová street, some 15 minutes walking from the city center. Trains from this station depart to Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia (in summer), Poland and the rest of Slovakia.
Bratislava Zoo
The ZOO Bratislava (Slovak: Zoologická záhrada Bratislava) is a 96-hectare zoo in Bratislava, Slovakia, in the borough of Karlova Ves. It lies in the Little Carpathians forest. As of 2007, the zoo has an area of 96-hectare, and is home to 1307 specimens of 152 animal species. In 2006, the zoo received 203,000 visitors.
Mirbach Palace
Mirbach Palace is a Rococo-style palace in the Old Town, Bratislava, built from 1768 to 1770 for Bratislava (then Pressburg) brewer Michal Spech. The palace is named after its last owner, Count Emil Mirbach. Count Emil Mirbach was shot in 1945 by the invading Russians and the palace was expropriated along with the contained Mirbach's art collections. The palace was completely renovated in 1975 and made a seat of the Bratislava City Gallery.
House of the Good Shepherd
The House of the Good Shepherd (Slovak: Dom U dobrého pastiera) is a narrow, Rococo-style building in Bratislava, Slovakia, located in the Old Town below Bratislava Castle. It was built in 1760–1765 by notable Bratislava master-mason Matej (Matthäus) Hollrigl. The townhouse was constructed for a local merchant and the lower part of the building was used for commercial purposes, the upper part for living.
Miestodržiteľský palác
Miestodržiteľský palác (Vice Governor's palace in Bratislava) is an old and historically important building, located in capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, in the Main Square, Old Town. It was owned by the city of Bratislava until it was bought by the state in the 18th century for the purpose of housing The Vice Governor's Council. After World War II, the building was used by many institutions, until the Velvet Revolution in 1989.

The Trinitarian Church or Trinity Church, full name Church of Saint John of Matha and Saint Felix of Valois (Slovak: Kostol trinitárov, Trinitársky kostol or Trojičný kostol or Kostol svätého Jána z Mathy a svätého Felixa z Valois; incorrectly Holy Trinity Church), is a Baroque-style church in Bratislava's Old Town borough, on the Župné námestie square. The church was built on the place of older Church of St. Michael, which was demolished in 1529, along with the settlement of St.
Pálffy Palace (Bratislava)
Pálffy Palace is a Baroque-style palace in the Old Town of Bratislava, on the Ventúrska street. It was built by Count Leopold Pálffy in 1747. It has an interesting portal with a relief reflecting the military career of the count as a general in the army of Empress Maria Theresa. During the reconstruction of the palace, parts of a Gothic building were found in walls at the interior of the building. Roman and Celtic finds were uncovered through archaeological research in the basement.
Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Ljubljana
The Academy of Fine Arts and Design (Slovene: Akademija za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje, also known with the acronym ALUO), is a prestigious art academy and institution based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It is part of the University of Ljubljana. Over the years many of Slovenia's most noted painters and artists have taught or been a member of the academy. From 1945 to 1961, Božidar Jakac taught graphic arts at the academy where he also served as a dean three times.
St. Nicholas' Church, Bratislava
St. Nicholas' Church in Bratislava is an orthodox church situated on the castle hill next to the Bratislava Castle. The church was built in 1661 by Paul Pálffy‘s (1589–1655) widow Countess Frances, née Khuen (died 1672). It is an early baroque building built on the place of original Gothic church below the Bratislava Castle. The church is consecrated to St. Nicholas, the patron of sailors. His statue is situated in the stone niche above the main entrance to the church.
Hodžovo námestie
Hodžovo námestie (English: Hodžovo Square, locally referred to as Mierko) is a major square in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The square is located at the edge of Old Town, in front of the Slovak Presidential Palace, some 5 minutes walking distance from the historical city center. It is considered to be the center of Bratislava (although Main Square is also considered to be the center) and it is the place of almost all of the foreign states visits.
Pálffy Palace (Zámocká Street)
Pálffy Palace (Slovak: Záhradné krídlo bývalého Pálffyho paláca) is a 17th century building on Zámocká Street in the Old Town of Bratislava, Slovakia, situated just underneath the Bratislava Castle. It is the summer pavilion of a large palace complex that was slowly demolished after the year 1900. Today, the building is used for cultural events.

Botanical Garden of the Comenius University is the oldest public botanical garden in Slovakia.
