Parque del Retiro

Parque del Retiro is the only senior citizens-oriented passive park in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It is located in barrio Canas Urbano. The park commemorated its 30th anniversary on February 11, 2010. It has a "steady attendance" of some 70 senior citizens. The park's oldest member is 91 years old. The park's managing ranger is Roberto Castro Franceschi.

Caribbean School

Caribbean School is a private, college preparatory day school located in Ponce in the United States commonwealth of Puerto Rico. It provides pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade level teaching and is one of the few schools in Puerto Rico which teach all courses in all grades in English. Estadio Francisco Montaner

The Estadio Francisco ("Paquito") Montaner is a multi-use stadium in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It is home to the Leones de Ponce team of the Puerto Rico Baseball League (LBPPR) and FC Leones of the Puerto Rico Soccer League (PRSL). The stadium has a capacity of 16,000 seats. Construction of the stadium began in 1947 and it opened on October 15, 1949. Montaner has the distinction of being the first stadium in Puerto Rico that installed an artificial surface field.

Carnaval de Ponce

The Carnaval de Ponce, officially Carnaval Ponceño, is an annual celebration held in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The celebration lasts one week and it ends on the day before Ash Wednesday. Thus, it is generally held in February and sometimes in March. It is one of the oldest carnivals of the Western Hemisphere, dating back to 1858. Some authorities, such as the Smithsonian Institution, believe the Ponce Carnaval can be traced to as far back as 250 years ago.

Ponce Grand Prix

The Ponce Grand Prix de Atletismo is a track and field competition held yearly in Ponce, Puerto Rico at the Francisco Montaner Stadium. The event started in 2007, after the successful hosting of the 2006 Ibero-American Championships. Ponce YMCA Building

The Ponce YMCA Building is a historic structure located in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. It is located at 7843 Calle Nazaret, Urbanizacion Santa Maria.
