Trindade station
Trindade is a station on the Porto Metro system in Porto, Portugal. The modern metro station was built on the site of the former Trindade railway station, which was the central terminus for services to Porto from Trofa, Póvoa do Varzim and the Guimarães line. Trindade was also the main entry point for the tunnelling machine which excavated the tunnels for Line D in central Porto.

Maria Pia Bridge
The Maria Pia bridge (Ponte Maria Pia), commonly known as Ponte Dona Maria, is a railway bridge built in 1877 by Gustave Eiffel in Porto, Portugal. Built of wrought iron, its two-hinged crescent arch used to carry the railway to Lisbon for 353 metres across the River Douro at a height of 60 m above the river. When constructed it was the longest single-arch span in the world. It is no longer in use as a rail bridge, a modern replacement having been constructed in 1991.

The Porto Cathedral (Portuguese: Sé do Porto), located in the historical centre of the city of Porto, Portugal, is one of the city's oldest monuments and one of the most important Romanesque monuments in Portugal The current Cathedral of Porto underwent construction around 1110 under the patronage of Bishop Hugo and was completed in the 13th century, but there is evidence that the city has been a bishopric seat since the Suevi domination in the 5th-6th centuries.
Dom Luís Bridge, Porto
The Luís I (or Luiz I) Bridge (Portuguese: Ponte Luís I or Luiz I) is a metal arch bridge that spans the Douro River between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia in Portugal. At the time of construction its span of 172 m was the longest of its type in the world. The Government held a competition for the construction of a metallic bridge over the Douro River on a site that was adjacent to an existing bridge and would replace it. Téophile Seyrig had already engineered the D.

Coliseu do Porto
The Coliseu do Porto is a theatre in Porto, Portugal. It is arguably one of the most relevant landmarks of Porto and a prestigious venue for music and cultural events. Together with Batalha Cinema, the Coliseu is a very good example of Portuguese Streamline Moderne and Art Deco in the city of Porto. It was built after the historical Salão Jardim Passos Manuel, in the early years of the 20th century. The earliest sketches of the building are from the year 1911.

São Bento Railway Station
São Bento Railway Station (Portuguese: Estação de São Bento) is located in the city of Porto, in Portugal. Inaugurated in 1916, the historical station is known for its tile panels that depict scenes of the History of Portugal. It is located in the Almeida Garret Square, in the centre of the city. It remains in regular use as a railway station, served by trains operated by Comboios de Portugal. It is the western terminus for trains on the scenic Douro line to/from Pocinho.
Cinema Batalha (Porto)
The Cinema Batalha is a cinema and concert venue in Porto, Portugal. Originally the High Life Cinema, it was transformed in the current structure by architect Artur Andrade and inaugurated on 3 June 1947. After many years of great success, the building and the cinema started losing customers due to the growing popularity video rental services (in the 1980s) and the mushrooming of malls with multiplex theaters (in the 1990s). Today the building has been re-opened as a cultural and concert venue.

The Episcopal Palace of Porto (Portuguese: Paço Episcopal do Porto) is the former residence of the bishops of Porto, in Portugal. The palace is located on a high elevation, near Porto Cathedral, and dominates the skyline of the city. It is part of the historical centre of Porto, designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The palace is an important example of late baroque and rococo civil architecture in the city.
Batalha Square
Batalha Square (Portuguese: Praça da Batalha) is a historical public square located in the city of Porto, in Portugal. According to tradition, the name batalha (battle) comes from a 10th-century battle fought between the Moorish forces of Al-Mansur Ibn Abi Aamir and the inhabitants of Porto, which resulted in the defeat of the latter and the destruction of the city. An important monument of the square is the Batalha Palace, a good example of a late 18th century urban palace of Porto.

Arqueossítio da Rua de D. Hugo
The Arqueossítio da Rua de D. Hugo is a museum and historic site in the city of Porto in Portugal. It is located at number 5 Rua de Dom Hugo, near the Cathedral of Porto. The original house was Gothic but was destroyed. It has, however, taken advantage of its original walls for the construction of a new building. In the 1980 excavations were made that uncovered traces of a much earlier occupation dating from the fourth century BC to the present.

Casa-Museu Guerra Junqueiro
Casa-Museu Guerra Junqueiro is a palace and museum in Porto, Portugal. It is a cultural center built in memory of the famous poet and writer Guerra Junqueiro. The palace dates back to 1730 and was built by Nicolau Nasoni. It is located at Rua de D. Hugo, nº 15. In 1940 the estate was donated by his daughter to honor him and it later became a museum. Exhibited in the museum is a collection of religious art, ceramics and furniture etc.
Church of Saint Ildefonso
The Igreja de Santo Ildefonso is an 18th century church in Porto, Portugal, situated near Batalha Square. Completed in 1739, the church was built in a proto-Baroque style and features a retable by the Italian artist Nicolau Nasoni and a façade of azulejo tilework. The church is named in honour of the Visigoth Ildephonsus of Toledo, bishop of Toledo from 657 until his death in 667.
