Lisbon
Lisbon is the capital city and largest city of Portugal with a population of 547,631 within its administrative limits on a land area of 84.8 km . The urban area of Lisbon extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of over 3 million on an area of 958 km, making it the 11th most populous urban area in the European Union. About 3,035,000 people live in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (which represents approximately 27% of the population of the country).

The Instituto Nacional de Estatística is the National Statistical Institute of Portugal. Its headquarters is located in Lisbon. It also calls itself Statistics Portugal in English. Ponta Delgada, São Vicente
Ponta Delgada is a parish in the district of São Vicente in the Madeira Islands. The population in 2001 is 1,325, its density is 150.6/km² and the area is 8.8 km². It is the smallest parish in population and density and the second in area. It is located east of São Vicente. The main industry are agriculture with some businesses. It is connected with a road linking São Vicente and the western part of the island and Santana. The Atlantic Ocean is to the north. The mountains are to the south.
Marquess of Pombal
Count of Oeiras (in Portuguese Conde de Oeiras) was a Portuguese title of nobility created by a royal decree, dated from July 15, 1759, by King Joseph I of Portugal, and granted to Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, Head of the Portuguese Government. Later, through another royal decree dated from September 16, 1769, the same king upgraded the title to Marquess of Pombal.

Alto do Pina (Lisbon)
Alto do Pina is a Portuguese parish, located in the municipality of Lisbon. It has a population of 10,253 inhabitants and a total area of 0.82 km². Local landmarks include the Fonte Luminosa (Glowing Fountain), where a major rally was held by the Portuguese Socialist Party during the post-revolutionary period of 1975, attacking the influence of the Portuguese Communist Party. Also located in Alto do Pina are the ruins of the vacation house of the consort king of Portugal, Ferdinand II.

The Campo Pequeno Bullring (Portuguese: Praça de Touros do Campo Pequeno, lit. "Small Field") is the bull ring of Lisbon, Portugal. It is located in the Campo Pequeno Square, by the Avenida da República. After a profound renovation, it re-opened as a multi-event venue in 2006, designed to be used for various events apart from bull fighting. It hosts a range of live acts and has seen many famous bands perform there. It includes an underground shopping centre, restaurants and a parking lot.
Hospital Real de Todos os Santos
The Hospital Real de Todos os Santos (All Saints Royal Hospital) was a major hospital in Lisbon, Portugal. The hospital was built between 1492 and 1504 and was destroyed in the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, along with most of the city.

Avenida da Liberdade (Lisbon)
Avenida da Liberdade (Liberty Avenue) is an important avenue in central Lisbon, in Portugal. It is a 90 metre-wide boulevard, 1100 m long, with ten lanes divided by pedestrian pavements decorated with gardens. It links Restauradores Square with the Marquis of Pombal Square. The Liberdade Avenue and the Restauradores Square have its origins in a public park (Passeio Público) inaugurated in the area in 1764, created by Pombaline architect Reinaldo Manuel.

The Marquess of Pombal Square (Portuguese: Praça do Marquês de Pombal) is an important roundabout in the city of Lisbon, Portugal. It is located between the Avenida da Liberdade (Liberty Avenue) and the Eduardo VII Park. The square is the radiating point for various important avenues: Liberdade, Duque de Loulé and Fontes Pereira de Melo, as well as the streets Braamcamp and Joaquim António de Aguiar.
Eduardo VII Park
The Eduardo VII Park (Portuguese: Parque Eduardo VII) is a public park in Lisbon, Portugal. The park occupies an area of 26 hectares to the north of the Avenida da Liberdade and the Marquess of Pombal Square, in the centre of the city. Its name pays homage to Edward VII of the United Kingdom who visited Portugal in 1902 to strengthen the relations between the two countries. The Lisbon Book Fair is held there annually.
Coliseu dos Recreios
Coliseu dos Recreios, or Coliseu de Lisboa (Lisbon Coliseum), is a concert hall in Lisbon, Portugal. It is situated in the Rua das Portas de Santo Antão in Pombaline Lower Town. The venue was opened on 14 August 1890, and a major refurbishment was completed in February 1994. The hall's capacity is from 2,846 (all seated) up to 4,000 people, depending on how it is configured. Beside musical concerts, other shows are hosted there, including theatre, circus, dance shows and awards ceremonies.
