Gdynia
Gdynia is a city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland and an important seaport of Gdańsk Bay on the south coast of the Baltic Sea. Hala Stulecia Sopotu (Polish: 100 Years of Sopot Hall) is a basketball arena in Sopot, Poland, which hosts the Polish domestic league matches of the professional club Asseco Prokom Gdynia. The arena has a seating capacity of 2,000 people. Prokom was also forced to use this arena for several of its 2007-08 Euroleague regular season home fixtures after its normal home for Euroleague play, Hala Olivia in Gdańsk, was closed due to structural problems.
Swelinia
Swelinia, also known as Swelina or (in German) Grenzfluß, is a name of a brook between Northern part of Sopot and Southern Gdynia. Original Slavic name Swelinia occurred first time in documents from 13th century (Rivulum qui Swelina dicitur, "a creek known as Swelina"), but subsequently that name was not used in any official documents or maps until it was mentioned again in the Geographic Dictionary of Kingdom of Poland in 1888. The brook was always a border between Sopot and other territories.
