Frysztak
Frysztak is a village in the Gmina Frysztak, Strzyżów County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland, 17 km from Krosno. Frysztak lies in historic Lesser Poland, and in 1772 - 1918 it was part of Austrian province of Galicia. It is located on a hillock near the river Wisłok, on the road from Rzeszów to Krosno. A second connecting road leads from Frysztak through Lubla and Sieklowka to Warzyce, where it joins the highway leading to Jasło.

Anlage Süd
Anlage Sud was a pair of railway headquarters built for Adolf Hitler in southern Nazi-occupied part of Poland during the Second World War. Two reinforced tunnels were built near the rail line between Rzeszów to Jasło. One bunker was located in the village of Stępina (45 km. south of Rzeszów), the other was in the town of Strzyżów (30 km. south of Rzeszów) . They were initially used for a two-day meeting between Hitler and Italian fascist leader, Benito Mussolini, on 27–28 August 1941.
