Łaźnia Nowa Theatre is the youngest dramatic theatre in Kraków, Poland. Wanda Mound
Wanda Mound is a tumulus located in Mogiła (since 1949 a neighbourhood of district Nowa Huta) in Kraków, Poland. The mound is assumed to be the resting place of the legendary princess Wanda. According to one version of the story, she committed suicide by drowning in the Vistula river to avoid unwanted marriage. The mound is located close to the spot on the river bank where her body was found.
Ludowy Theatre
The Ludowy Theatre in Kraków, located at Osiedle Teatralne in District Nowa Huta, opened on December 3, 1955; at a time, when the official policy of Socialist realism came to an end; and, the 1956 de-stalinization of People's Republic of Poland was about to begin. The Ludowy quickly became known as the city's prime avant-garde stage thanks to collaboration of eminent artists such as theatre theoretician and painter Józef Szajna, Tadeusz Kantor, Lidia Zamkow, Krystyna Zachwatowicz and others.

Museum of PRL is a new museum being set up in Kraków, Poland, devoted to documenting the communist period of postwar history of the country then renamed People's Republic of Poland (PRL) by the pro-Soviet government. The museum was established in 2008 as a division of the Warsaw Museum of Polish History, and is located at a former movie house owned by the state, called Światowid, in the Nowa Huta district of Kraków.
