Wrocław University of Economics

The Wrocław University of Economics (Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny we Wrocławiu) is one of ten public universities located in Wrocław, Poland. Originally established in 1947 as a private business school (then named Wyższa Szkoła Handlowa, or "Trade College"), it was nationalized in 1954 under the name Wyższa Szkoła Ekonomiczna, "College of Economics"). In October 1974 it was named after the Polish economist Oskar Lange, although his name does not occur in the official English name of the university.

New Synagogue (Wrocław)

The New Synagogue was the largest synagogue in Breslau, Germany. It was one of the largest synagogues in the German Empire and a centre of Liberal Judaism in Breslau. It was built in 1865-1872, and designed by Edwin Oppler. It was burnt down during the Kristallnacht pogrom which swept across Nazi Germany on 9–10 November 1938.

Wrocław Główny railway station

Wrocław Main Station is the biggest and most important passenger rail station of the southwestern Polish city of Wrocław. Built in the mid-19th century near the center of the city, until 1945 it was known as Breslau Hauptbahnhof. It also is the biggest rail station of Lower Silesia, located at the junction of several important routes.

Museum of Architecture, Wrocław

The Museum of Architecture is in Wrocław, Poland. The museum is the only architecture museum in Poland. It is located in a 15th century post-Bernardine set of buildings, including the St Bernardine of Sienna Church and a monastic quadrangle with a garden. The Museum of Architecture was a founder-member of the International Federation of Architectural Museums (ICAM).

Monopol Hotel

Old Jewish Cemetery in Wroclaw

The Old Jewish Cemetery in Wroclaw is located in the south east part of Wroclaw, Poland, currently along Ślężna street. The first burial took place on 17 November 1856 which back then was a village of Gabitz. The current shape of the cemetery evolved mostly during 19th century - the cemetery area was expanded twice. In 1943 the burial ceremonies were abandoned and the necropoly was leased for five years to a gardening center.

Oławski Bridge

Oławski Bridge is a road bridge over the Oława River in Wrocław, Poland. It was also known as Mauritius Brücke (German) or St. Mauritius Bridge (English), Margarethenbrücke, and Most Wygonowy (cattle drive bridge). It was constructed during 1882-1883 and was designed by Alexander Kaumann, with assistance from Eger and Reichelt, Beer, Wackwitz and Hoffmann.

Renoma (Wrocław)
