Cajamarca
Cajamarca is located in the northern highlands of Peru and is the capital of the Cajamarca region. It is approximately 2,700 m (8,900 ft) above sea level and has a population of about 240,000 people. Cajamarca has an equatorial climate so it is mild, dry and sunny, which creates very fertile soil. The city is well known for its cheeses and dairy products. Cajamarca is also known for its churches, and hot springs, or Inca Baths. There are also several active mining sites in surrounding areas.

The Ransom Room (El Cuarto del Rescate) is a small building located in Cajamarca, Peru. It is considered to be the place where the Inca Empire came to an end with the capture and eventual execution of the Inca Emperor Atahualpa.
Battle of Cajamarca
The Battle of Cajamarca was the ambush and capture of the Inca ruler Atahualpa by Francisco Pizarro and a small Spanish force on November 16, 1532. The "battle" involved the massacre of thousands of Atahualpa's unarmed entourage of nobles and attendants, in the great plaza of Cajamarca. The seizure of Atahualpa marked the opening stage of the conquest of the pre-Columbian Inca civilisation of Peru.

(Corporación Peruana de Aeropuertos y Aviación Comercial S.A. ), a government-run organization that oversees the management of Peruvian airports.
Estadio Héroes de San Ramón
Estadio Héroes de San Ramón is a multi-use stadium in Cajamarca, Peru. It is currently used by football team Club Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca. The stadium seats 18,000 people. The origin of its name comes from the battle of San Pablo, where three students from San Ramón de Cajamarca School died for Perú, in the War of the Pacific. This stadium is undergoing improvements by the Peruvian Institute for Sport.
