Auckland Region
The Auckland Region is one of the sixteen regions of New Zealand, named for the city of Auckland, the country's largest urban area. The region encompasses the Auckland metropolitan area, smaller towns, rural areas, and the islands of the Hauraki Gulf. With one third of the nation's residents, it has by far the biggest population and economy of any region of New Zealand, but the second-smallest land area.
One Tree Hill, New Zealand
One Tree Hill (also known as Maungakiekie) is a 182 metre volcanic peak located in Auckland, New Zealand. It is an important memorial place for both Māori and other New Zealanders. The suburb around the base of the hill is also called One Tree Hill; it is surrounded by the suburbs of Royal Oak to the west, and clockwise, Epsom, Greenlane, Oranga, and Onehunga.
Great South Road, New Zealand
The Great South Road was the northern section of the earliest highway between Auckland and Wellington, in the North Island of New Zealand. Construction of the Great South Road began in 1861 during the New Zealand Wars. The road was constructed by British Army troops, and provided a flow of supplies for the Waikato campaign. Approximately 12,000 soldiers were involved in the construction over two years.

Ellerslie is a suburb of the city of Auckland, New Zealand. It is seven kilometres to the southeast of the city centre, close to State Highway 1. A largely residential suburb, the area's best known feature is Auckland's main horse racing course, Ellerslie Racecourse, as well as for being the original site of the Ellerslie Flower Show.

The station is served by bus route 007, which runs from St Heliers to Point Chevalier via Glen Innes and St Lukes.

Greenlane
Greenlane is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The Greenlane shops are the main shopping centre for the suburb of Epsom and are situated at the intersection of Manukau Road and Green Lane West. On the Northern side of Green Lane are located the Alexandra Park Raceway and the Epsom Showgrounds; on the southern side is Greenlane Hospital, Cornwall Park, and One Tree Hill Domain.

Mount Hobson, Auckland
Mount Hobson is a 143 m high volcanic cone in the Auckland Volcanic Field in Auckland, New Zealand. Located in the Remuera suburb, to the east of the Newmarket commercial suburb, it has been extensively modified by human use, first by Māori for use as a Pā (fortification) and later by use as quarry and pasture land before finally having a water reservoir installed in its cone to supply the surrounding area.
Carey Baptist College
Carey Baptist College is a Bible and theological college for training in mission, ministry, and formation based in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the theological college of the Baptist Churches of New Zealand. The college was founded in 1924 as New Zealand Baptist Theological College. It held its first classes in 1926, originally training men to be ministers for Baptist churches in New Zealand.
Ellerslie School
Ellerslie School was founded in 1877, making it one of the oldest schools in Auckland, New Zealand. It is a Year 1 to Year 8 school. Ellerslie has a roll of about 500 students, with most students living in the Ellerslie/Greenlane area. Ellerslie School is in zone for One Tree Hill College. The current principal is Mr Magner. The Intermediate area of the school was upgraded in 2007, and has a multi-purpose technology block.
Diocesan School for Girls (Auckland)
Diocesan School for Girls (Dio) is a private girls' school in Epsom, Auckland, New Zealand. It is consistently a top-achieving school nationally. The school is Anglican-based and was established in 1903. It caters to international students and has accommodation for 35 boarders at Innes House. The school elected to offer students the option of International Baccalaureate diplomas, as an alternative to the national NCEA qualification, from 2008.
Alexandra Park, Auckland
Alexandra Park is the home of the Auckland Trotting Club in Epsom, Auckland. The park consists of the Alexandra Park Raceway trotting track, conference centre and restaurants. It is also home to many feature harness races, including the Auckland Trotting Cup and the Rowe Cup. It is also the home of the New Zealand Trotting Hall of Fame and museum.

Cornwall Park Stadium
Cornwall Park Stadium or Cornwall Park is a cricket ground in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the home ground of the Cornwall Cricket Club. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1958, when England women played a New Zealand women's touring team. The ground has also hosted three Women's Test matches and three Women's ODIs.
Mount Saint John, New Zealand
Mount Saint John (also Te Kopuke or Tikikopuke) is one of the volcanic scoria cones in the Auckland Volcanic Field. It has a peak 126 metres above sea level and a crater around 150 m wide. It was the site of a pā, and has retained Māori earthworks from that era such as kumara pits and terracing. The age of Mt St John is currently unknown but is older than 28,500 yrs old as the scoria cone is mantled in ash from Three Kings Volcano.
Little Rangitoto
Little Rangitoto (also Maungarahiri) is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland Volcanic Field. This scoria cone had a peak 75 m above sea level (30 m higher than the surrounding land) before it was mostly quarried away. The quarry site is now Little Rangitoto Reserve, having been partly filled with refuse in the 1950s. Remnants of the southern slopes of the cone lie south of the reserve and underlie houses in Ventnor Rd.
Corran School
Corran School was a small independent girls' school catering for students from ages 5 to 18 located in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand. This school was established in 1947 by Mrs Constance Duthie. It closed at the end of 2009, and Saint Kentigern School for Girls - Corran was established at the site of the former school.
