Monterrey
Monterrey, is the capital city of the northeastern state of Nuevo León in the country of Mexico. The city is anchor to the third-largest metropolitan area in Mexico and is ranked as the ninth-largest city in the nation. Monterrey serves as a commercial center in the north of the country and is the base of many significant international corporations. It is Mexico's second richest city, and the world's 63rd richest, with an economy that had a 2008 GDP of USD $102 billion.
Faro del Comercio
Faro del Comercio is a monument designed by the accomplished Mexican architect Luis Barragán and constructed in 1984 by architect Raúl Ferrera. It is a recognizable sight in Monterrey among many other modern manmade landmarks, such as Neptune's Fountain, the Monterrey City Hall, the Papal Bridge, and the Bridge of Unity in San Pedro, connecting that municipality to Monterrey.

Banderas monumentales
The banderas monumentales are a set of monuments located throughout Mexico. They are part of a program started in 1999 under President Ernesto Zedillo that is currently administered by the Secretariat of National Defense (Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional). The main feature of these monuments (though not the biggest, see below) is a giant Mexican flag flying off a 50 meter-high flagpole. The size of the flag was 14.3 by 25 meters and it was flown on a pole that measured 50 meters high.
Cerro del Obispado
The Cerro del Obispado (Spanish for Bishopric Hill) is a famous landmark in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, named after the building constructed in the middle of the hill by the end of the 18th century. The hill is a popular recreational area that includes a public lookout point, a monumental flag, and the famous Bishopric Palace (Palacio del Obispado).

The Palacio del Obispado (Spanish for Bishop's Palace) is one of Monterrey's oldest buildings. The Palace was constructed in the middle of a hill (later named after the building as the Bishopric Hill) by the end of the 18th century.
Macroplaza
The Macroplaza or La Gran Plaza is a town square or plaza located in the heart of the city of Monterrey, Mexico. The Macroplaza was built in the early 1980s during the governorship of Alfonso Martínez Domínguez. The construction of the Macroplaza required the demolition of several old buildings and houses including a famous movie theater. The Macroplaza is presently the fourth largest plaza in the world.
Zaragoza (Monterrey Metro)
The Zaragoza station (Spanish: Estación General I. Zaragoza or Terminal Zaragoza) is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in Monterrey, on the heart of the Macroplaza. It was opened in 1994 and serves as the southern terminus of the line. This station serves the heart of the Monterrey shopping district. It is one block away from Morelos Street, and Monterrey's Zona Rosa, MARCO museum and the Monterrey City Hall. It is accessible for people with disabilities.

The hill has long been considered the natural division of the now adjacent cities of Monterrey and San Pedro Garza García.
Basilica of Guadalupe, Monterrey
The Basilica of Guadalupe or Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, is a Roman Catholic church located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Standing in the neighborhood of Colonia Independencia, just outside of the city's downtown area, the temple is one of the larger Church edifices in northern Mexico.

The Old Basilica of Guadalupe is a Roman Catholic apostolic building located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, just outside the city's downtown. In its heyday, it was the centre for the Basilica of Guadalupe. Its small edification (by today's standards) is barely 50 meters away from the present basilica.
Loma Larga Tunnel
Loma Larga Tunnel, or, as it is known by the locals, Túnel de la Loma Larga, is a man-made tunnel constructed in the bowels of the Cerro de la Loma Larga, in the limits of the cities of Monterrey and San Pedro Garza García in Nuevo León, México. The work itself in fact is two tunnels, holding three lanes each (a fourth one is destined for emergencies).

XHMNL-TV channel 28, known on-air as TV Nuevo León (TVNL), is an educational and public television station owned and operated by the government of the State of Nuevo León in Monterrey. Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (abbreviated as MARCO) is one of the leading museums of contemporary art in Mexico.
