Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior
The Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS) is a Mexican private university commonly referred to as CETYS Universidad. This institution was founded on February 17, 1961 with Fernando Macías Rendón as first president in Mexicali, Baja California. The Calexico East Port of Entry is a border crossing point between the United States and Mexico. It connects the cities of Calexico, California and Mexicali, Baja California. Since that time, all truck traffic entering the United States from Mexicali is inspected at Calexico East.
