Universiti Sains Malaysia is a public university in Malaysia. There are three campuses: one on the island of Penang (Main Campus), one in Kelantan (Health Campus), and one in Nibong Tebal. There is offshore collaboration with KLE University, India offering the Doctor of Medicine (USM) undergraduate degree. Kek Lok Si

The Kek Lok Si Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in Air Itam in Penang and is one of the best known temples on the island. It is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia. The temple is heavily commercialised with shops at every level and inside the main temple complexes.
