Forêts
Forêts was a département of the French First Republic, and later the First French Empire, in present Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. Its name, meaning 'forests', comes from the Ardennes forests. It was formed on 24 October 1795, after the Southern Netherlands had been annexed by France on 1 October. Before the occupation, the territory was part of the Duchy of Luxembourg and the Duchy of Bouillon. Its capital was Luxembourg City.

Hesperange is a commune and town in southern Luxembourg. It is located south-east of Luxembourg City. The total population of the commune is 13,103 persons. This breaks down into 6,442 Luxembourgers, 1,480 Portuguese, 1,318 French, 865 Italians, 443 Belgians, 427 Germans, and 2,128 persons of other nationalities. As of 2008, the town of Hesperange, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 2,376. Other towns within the commune include Alzingen, Fentange, Howald, and Itzig.
Howald
Howald is a town in the commune of Hesperange, in southern Luxembourg. The town merges almost seamlessly with Luxembourg City's south-eastern suburban quarter of South Bonnevoie, which lies to the north of Howald. As of 2006, the town has a population of 4,760, making it the most populous town in the commune and the 22nd-most populous in Luxembourg.

Bonnevoie
Bonnevoie is an area of south-eastern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is divided between the quarters of North Bonnevoie-Verlorenkost and South Bonnevoie. It is the biggest neighbourhood in the city, with more than 15,000 inhabitants. Famous people born in Bonnevoie include: John E. Dolibois, United States ambassador to Luxembourg Hugo Gernsback, editor and science fiction author François Hentges, gymnast Gabriel Lippmann, French physicist and Nobel Prize laureate (1908)

South Bonnevoie is a quarter in south-eastern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. Within the quarter lies most of the area of Bonnevoie, which also forms part of North Bonnevoie-Verlorenkost. In 2010, the quarter had a population of 15,596 people, the most of all of the city's quarters.
North Bonnevoie-Verlorenkost
North Bonnevoie-Verlorenkost is a quarter in southern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. Within the quarter lies some of the area of Bonnevoie, most of which lies in the quarter of South Bonnevoie. In 2001, the quarter had a population of 3,319 people.
Luxembourg railway station
Luxembourg railway station is the main railway station serving Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. It is the hub of Luxembourg's domestic railway network, serving as a terminus for all but one of Luxembourg's railway lines (the exception being Line 80, which only stops at one station in Luxembourg).
Victor Bodson Bridge
The Victor Bodson Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Hesperange, in southern Luxembourg. It circles the south-eastern suburbs of Luxembourg City, and carries the A1 motorway between Howald and Itzig, over the Alzette valley below. The bridge was completed in 1993, as part of the extension of the A1 from Senningerberg to the south of Luxembourg City. The bridge is 260 metres long, and stands 40 metres above the level of the Alzette below.
