Rasos Cemetery
Rasos Cemetery (Lithuanian: Rasų kapinės, Belarusian: Могілкі Росы, Polish: cmentarz Na Rossie w Wilnie) is the oldest and most famous cemetery in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania. It is named after the Rasos district where it is located. It is separated into two parts, the old and the new cemeteries, by a narrow Sukilėliai Street. The total area is 10.8 ha. Since 1990 new burials are allowed only to family graves.

Jonas Basanavičius
Jonas Basanavičius (23 November 1851 in Ožkabaliai – 16 February 1927 in Wilno, Poland; now Vilnius, Lithuania) was an activist and proponent of Lithuania's National Revival and founder of the first Lithuanian language newspaper Aušra. He was one of the initiators and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 1905 Congress of Lithuanians, the Great Seimas of Vilnius. He was also the founder and chairman of the Lithuanian Scientific Society (1907).

Vilna Ghetto
The Vilna Ghetto, Vilnius Ghetto or Wilno Ghetto was a World War II Jewish ghetto established and operated by Nazi Germany in the city of Vilnius in the territory of Nazi-administered Reichskommissariat Ostland. During roughly two years of its existence, starvation, disease, street executions, maltreatment and deportations to concentration camps and extermination camps reduced the population of the ghetto from an estimated 40,000 to zero.
Užupis
Užupis is a neighborhood in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, largely located in Vilnius' old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Užupis means "on the other side of the river" in the Lithuanian language and refers to the Vilnia River; the name Vilnius was derived from the Vilnia. The district has been popular with artists for some time, and has been compared to Montmartre in Paris and to Freetown Christiania in Copenhagen, due to its bohemic and never-mind atmosphere.
HKP 562 forced labor camp
HKP 562, located on Subocz Street (now Subačiaus Street 47 and 49) in Vilnius, Lithuania, was the site of an unusual labor camp during the Holocaust. The camp was officially owned and administered by the SS, but run on a day to day basis by a Wehrmacht engineering unit, HKP 562 (Heereskraftfahrpark 562) stationed in Vilna. HKP 562's commanding officer Major Karl Plagge was sympathetic to the plight of his Jewish workers.
LFF Stadium
LFF Stadium (Lithuanian Football Federation stadium), formerly known as Vėtra Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Vilnius, Lithuania. Currently is under construction to meet level 3 UEFA stadium status. Before it was used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of FK Vėtra. The stadium holds 5 500 people and was built in 2004. This is the first private stadium in Lithuania built after Soviet epoche.
Cathedral of the Theotokos, Vilnius
The Cathedral of the Theotokos in Vilnius is the main Orthodox Christian church of Lithuania. The cathedral was built during the reign of the Grand Duke Algirdas in 1346. It was constructed by Kievan architects with the blessing of Saint Alexius, Metropolitan of Kiev and all Rus', in 1348. The Cathedral of the Theotokos is one of the most ancient churches of Vilnius, built before the christianization of Lithuania when the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was the last pagan state in Europe.
St. Anne's Church, Vilnius
St. Anne's Church (Lithuanian: Šv. Onos bažnyčia) is a Roman Catholic church in Vilnius' Old Town, on the right bank of the Vilnia River. It is a prominent example of both Flamboyant Gothic and Brick Gothic styles. St. Anne's is a prominent landmark in the Old Town of Vilnius that enabled the district to be included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Lithuanian Art Museum
The Lithuanian Art Museum was initially established in Vilnius in 1933 as the Vilnius City Museum. It houses Lithuania's largest art collection.
House of the Signatories
The House of the Signatories (Lithuanian: Signatarų namai, previously known as Sztral's House) is a Lithuanian historic landmark in Pilies Street, Vilnius, where on February 16, 1918, the Act of Independence of Lithuania was signed by twenty members of the Council of Lithuania. The building was first mentioned in writing in an edict issued in 1645.
All Saints Church, Vilnius
All Saints Church is a Baroque style church in Vilnius, Lithuania. All Saints church was built between 1620-1630 and was adopted for Carmelites' needs. In the second half of the 17th century, the church was linked with a monastery and formed a single complex. The bell tower is high and massive with elaborate decorations. After a fire in the 18th century, it was restored and finished with a rococo-style dome roof.
Bernardine Cemetery
The Bernardine Cemetery, is one of the three oldest cemeteries in Vilnius, Lithuania. It covers about 38,000 square metres and has an estimated 14,000 burial sites. It was established in 1810 by the Bernardine monks of the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, just east of the city center in the Užupis district, and is situated on an embankment of the Vilnia river. Its development was a consequence of Tsarist authorities of the Russian Empire prohibiting burying the dead near churches.

The Genocide and Resistance Research Centre of Lithuania (Lithuanian: Lietuvos gyventojų genocido ir rezistencijos tyrimo centras or LGGRTC) is a state research institute in Lithuania dedicated to investigation of the crimes against humanity and other persecutions during the Soviet and Nazi occupations (1940–1990), including mass deportations, the Holocaust in Lithuania, and annihilation of the Lithuanian partisans.
St. Alexander Nevsky Church, Vilnius
St. Alexander Nevsky Church is an Orthodox church in the Naujinnikai district of Vilnius. It was built in 1898 and closed by the Soviet government in 1959. After the fall of the Soviet Union it was given back to the Russian Orthodox Church, but due to the destruction of the interior of the building during the period of closure, no services are now held there.
St. Paraskeva Church, Vilnius
St. Paraskeva Church is an Orthodox church in Vilnius. The first Orthodox church of St. Paraskeva was constructed on demand of prince Algirdas' first wife, a Vitebsk princess Maria, who was subsequently buried there in 1346. According to the legend, the church was built on the site of a temple to the pagan god, Ragutis. This church was completely destroyed by fire in 1557 and rebuilt three years later, but burned down again in 1611. Although ruined, it was given to the uniate parish.
St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Vilnius
St. Nicholas Church is one of the oldest Orthodox churches in Vilnius, Lithuania. According to a popular legend, the first wooden Orthodox chapel located on the place of today's St. Nicholas church was built around 1340. Seven years later, the Vilnius martyrs were supposedly buried there. However, in 1350, Uliana of Tver, the second wife of prince Algirdas, ordered to build a new brick church. In 1514 this church was again replaced with a larger one.
Adam Mickiewicz Monument, Vilnius
