Kosovo Polje, literally Blackbird's Field, also often rendered Field of Blackbirds (Albanian: Fushë Kosovë or Fushë Kosova; Serbo-Croatian: Kosovo Polje, Косово Поље) is a town and municipality in the Pristina district of central Kosovo, at 42.63° North, 21.12° East, or approximately eight kilometres south-west of Pristina. Gračanica monastery

Gračanica is a Serbian Orthodox monastery located in Kosovo. It was founded by the Serbian king Stefan Milutin in 1321. Gračanica Monastery was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and it is protected by Republic of Serbia, and on 13 July 2006 it was placed on UNESCO's World Heritage List under the name of Medieval Monuments in Kosovo as an extension of the Visoki Dečani site which was overall placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger.

Obilić

Obilić is a town and municipality in central Kosovo, belonging to the Pristina district. The municipality includes the town of Obilić and 19 villages, with a total population of approximately 21,548. Gazimestan

Gazimestan is the name of a monument commemorating the historical Battle of Kosovo, situated about 6-7 kilometres north-northeast of the actual battlefield, known as Kosovo Field, or in Albanian: "Fushë Kosovë/Fushë Kosova". The monument was designed by Aleksandar Deroko and built in 1953 under the authority of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. It is in the shape of a medieval tower. Gazimestan is reached from the Lazarevo-Mitrovica highway, on a 50 m hill above the plain.

Tomb of Sultan Murat

The Tomb of Sultan Murat (also known as Meşhed-i Hüdâvendigâr) is a 14th-century mausoleum dedicated to the Ottoman Sultan Murat I located in Kosovo. Murat I (nicknamed Hüdavendigâr, "the God-liked one") died in the Battle of Kosovo (1389), and his remains were taken to Bursa and buried in his tomb (at the Hüdavendigâr complex). But his son Bayezid I still made another tomb in Kosovo in the name of his father.

The Gazimestan speech was a speech given on 28 June 1989 by Slobodan Milošević, then President of Serbia. It was the centrepiece of a day-long event to mark the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Kosovo, which spelled the defeat of the medieval Serbian kingdom at the hands of the Ottoman Empire, as well as the annexation of most of Serbia's territory aside from the Serbian Despotate.

Pristina City Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi i Qytetit, Serbian: Градски стадион, Gradski stadion) is a multi-purpose stadium in Pristina and one of the biggest stadiums in Kosovo. Pristina

Cathedral of Blessed Mother Teresa in Pristina

The Cathedral of Blessed Mother Teresa in Pristina (Albanian: Katedralja e së Lumes Nënë Tereza në Prishtinë) in Pristina, Kosovo is a Roman Catholic cathedral being constructed. In 2007 the Government of Kosovo approved plans for the building. The church's foundation was ceremonially laid by former Kosovo president Ibrahim Rugova, himself a Muslim. It is dedicated to Blessed Mother Teresa. Upon the cathedral's completion, the diocese covering Kosovo will move from Prizren to Pristina.

Badovac Lake

Badovac Lake or Badovc Lake (Albanian: Liqeni i Badovcit) is an artificial lake in Kosovo. It is located south-east of the capital city of Pristina in the Goljak mountains and in the Kosovo Plain. It provides Pristina and the surrounding towns with water. In the summer, the lake is used for water activities. Badovac Lake is fed by the Gračanka river which flows into the lake on its left side. Gračanka is a tributary of the Sitnica river.

Battle of Tripolje

The Battle of Tripolje took place in November 1402 between the Serbian Despotate and the Brankovic family. The Brankovic family, who were attempting to seize the Serbian throne for themselves, entered the battle along with Ottoman troops given to them by Suleiman, and were decisively defeated by Stefan Lazarević. The Serbian Lazarevic army had come from Zeta.

Laplje Selo

Laplje Selo is a village/settlement in the Gračanica municipality of Kosovo, Serbia. Laplje Selo was part of the Pristina municipality before the Gracanica municipality was created. It is a Serb enclave; a supermajority of ethnic Serbs. During the Kosovo War, Serbs were displaced, after more than a decade, sixteen families returned to their village, on February 6, 2010. That number has since increased to just over 20 families. Various problems persist for returnees.

Janjevo, is a town in Kosovo that is mainly inhabited by Janjevci Croats. Janjevci get their name from this town. It is located in Lipjani municipality, by Gornja Gušterica and Teče. The population of Janjevci has decreased since the 1970s. Since 1971, the Janjevci have immigrated from Janjevo to Zagreb and Kistanje, causing a decline in the population of the Janjevci. The Albanians who live there are not in conflict with the Croats, ever since the Kosovo War.

Palace of Justice (Pristina)

The Palace of Justice in Pristina will be the seat of most of the courts of the Republic of Kosovo. It is located in the capital city of Kosovo, Pristina. Its construction began on 23 June 2011 and is expected to last until June 2013; however, it is not expected to start functioning until January 2014. The Palace of Justice is a project co-funded by the European Union and the government of Kosovo. The building costs are approximately €30 million.
