Belus River

Belus or Belos is a small river in north-western Israel, where according to legend, mentioned by Isidore of Seville in his Etymologiae glass-making was invented. This river is identified with what is now called the Na'aman River, near Acre. Pliny the Elder (N.H. 5.19), using the name 'Pacida', mentions that the river flowed from Lake Cendevia for five miles (8 km) to the sea near "Ptolemais Ace", and that it was celebrated for its vitrous sands.

Usha (city)

Usha was a city in the Western part of Galilee. It is noteworthy because in the 2nd century (c. 135), the Sanhedrin, or rabbinic court, was moved from Yavne in Judea to Usha, and then from Usha back to Yavne, and a second time from Yavne to Usha. The final settlement in Usha indicates the ultimate spiritual supremacy of Galilee over Judea, the latter having become depopulated after the Second Jewish Revolt.

Shfaram synagogue

The Shfaram synagogue is located in the Israeli-Arab city of Shfaram, Northern Israel. Record of a synagogue in Shfaram dates to the mid-18th century when Bedouin chieftain Dhaher al-Omar gave permission to the Jews to return and renovate the ancient house of prayer there. Shfaram was noted in 1845 by Rabbi Joseph Schwarz in his book Descriptive Geography and Brief Historical Sketch of Palestine as having "about thirty Jewish families who have an old synagogue".

Kfar Bialik

Kfar Bialik is a moshav in northern Israel. Located near Kiryat Bialik, it falls under the jurisdiction of Zevulun Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 786. The village was founded in 1934 on land owned by the Jewish National Fund by immigrants from Germany. It was named after Hayyim Nahman Bialik, who died the month before the moshav's establishment.

St. Peter & St. Paul Church, Shefa-Amr

St. Peter & St. Paul Church is located in the city of Shefa-Amr, Israel on one of the town's peaks of the old city. It has a high bell tower and a large purple dome which used to be blue until it was changed in the year of 2009. Ein Nymphit

Ein Nymphit (עין נמפית, lit. Nymphit Spring) is a small nature reserve northwest of Tel Afek, south of Kfar Masaryk. It contains a perrenial spring that produces clean clear water. The water flows from the spring to Nahal Na'aman, filling some pools on the way. The spring is named for the Nymphaea caerulea that grows nearby. The reserve is 62 dunams, declared in 1968. Cyperus, Longleaf Pondweed flowers grow on the reserve, in addition to Nymphaea caerulea
