St Columb's College
St Columb's College is a Roman Catholic boys' grammar school in Derry, Northern Ireland and, since 2008, a specialist school in Mathematics and Computing. It is named after Saint Columba, the Irish missionary monk who founded a monastery in the area. St Columb's College was established in 1879 on Bishop Street (now the site of Lumen Christi College), but later moved to Buncrana Road in the suburbs of the city.
Thornhill College
Thornhill College is a Roman Catholic girls' grammar school in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1886 and moved to Culmore in 1932. It moved into its new building in 2003. It has a student population of approximately 1500 and a staff of 100 teachers. Miss Hamilton replaced Mrs. Kelly in 2010 as the school principal. The club is a member of the Derry GAA and currently cater for Gaelic football and Ladies' Gaelic football. The club's catchment area includes Steelestown and the Greater Shantallow area at the edge of the city. Steelstown are one of the most successful Gaelic teams in the Cityside of Derry, with most of the county's footballers coming from rural areas.

Na Magha CLG is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Derry, Northern Ireland. The club is a member of the Derry GAA and they have both camogie and hurling teams from U8 to senior level. They are the only hurling and camogie teams in Derry city. The club recently opened their new pitch at the Amelia Earhart centre, Ballyarnet, with the development costs coming to around £500,000.
