The Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown (ITB), established in 1999, is (as of 2010), the last-founded Institute of Technology in Ireland. It is located within the Business & Technology Park on Blanchardstown Road North, about 15 km from Dublin City and close to the N3 (Navan Road).

It was founded in 1955 as an asylum for tuberculosis (TB) patients. It is run by the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) and currently serves a population of over 290,000. As of May 2007, the hospital provides 242 in-patient beds and 29 day beds.
