The Custom House
The Custom House (Irish: Teach an Chustaim) is a neoclassical 18th century building in Dublin, Ireland which houses the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government. It is located on the north bank of the River Liffey, on Custom House Quay between Butt Bridge and Talbot Memorial Bridge. The building of a new Custom House for Dublin was the idea of John Beresford, who became first commissioner of revenue for Ireland in 1780.

It was formerly the tallest storeyed building in the Republic of Ireland at 59.4 m (195 feet) high (until superseded by the County Hall outside Cork city, which was, itself, superseded by The Elysian, also located in Cork), and is currently the third tallest in Dublin after Montevetro and the Millennium Tower in Grand Canal Dock.

On the north side of the River Liffey, it provides intercity and commuter services to the north, north-west and south-east.

Queen's Theatre, Dublin
The Queen's Theatre, Dublin, located in Pearse Street was originally built in 1829 as the Adelphi Theatre. This building was demolished in 1844 and rebuilt. It reopened that same year as the Queens Royal Theatre, the new owner having been granted a Royal Patent to operate as a patent theatre. The theatre quickly became known as simply the Queen's.
International Financial Services Centre
The International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) is a major financial services centre in North Wall, Dublin, Ireland. The centre employs 14,000 people and was the brainchild of businessman Dermot Desmond, who's NCB financed a study by Price Waterhouse on the feasibilities of an 'IFSC'. Mr Desmond then approached Charles Haughey, then in opposition, who made it the centrepiece of his economic manifesto when he came back into power.".

Tara Street (Irish: Sráid na Teamhrach) is a railway station in central Dublin, Ireland. It is adjacent to Loopline Bridge on George's Quay. It deals with mainly DART trains and longer distance commuter trains. Commuter services go to (1) Maynooth and the western suburbs, (2) Balbriggan, Drogheda and Dundalk on the former GNR(I) main line and (3) Arklow and Rosslare Europort.
Windmill Lane Studios
Windmill Lane Studios, also known as the "U2 studio", is a three-storey music recording studio located in Dublin, Ireland. It is located on Windmill Lane, a small street just south of City Quay and the River Liffey and a little north of Pearse Station. It was opened in 1978 by Brian Masterson who is a company director and head engineer. It was originally used to record traditional Irish music until U2 came along and began to record there.

Busáras is the central bus station in Dublin, Ireland for intercity and regional bus services operated by Bus Éireann. Busáras is also a stop on the Red Line of the Luas system, just before the terminus at Dublin Connolly railway station. Áras Mhic Dhiarmada is the official name of the building, which also includes the headquarters of the Department of Social Protection. CIÉ, parent of Bus Éireann, rents the lower floors from the Department.

It links Pearse Street to the northern side of the city via Butt Bridge - traffic flows to the north. The station gives its name to Tara Street railway station, literally around the corner on Georges Quay, near the northern end of Tara Street.
Universal Links on Human Rights
Universal Links on Human Rights is a memorial sculpture located in Dublin, Ireland, on the traffic island at the junction of Amiens St and Memorial Road, close to Busáras and The Customs House. It is a sphere of welded interlinked chains and bars, 260 cm in diameter, housing an eternal flame in its center, powered by natural gas from the Kinsale Head gas field. It was commissioned by Amnesty International in 1995 and designed by Tony O'Malley.
Westland Row
Westland Row is a street on the south side of Dublin city, Ireland, dating from the year 1776. It was originally known as Westlands after William Westland who owned property in the area in the 18th century. The street runs along the east end of Trinity College Dublin. Many research departments and Schools associated with Trinity, such as the Hitachi Dublin Laboratory and the Trinity School of Pharmacy, maintain administrative offices on the west side of the street.

In 1791, the Wide Street Commission laid out a plan for the development of the area and a major roadway was established called Great Brunswick street in honour of King George I of Great Britain, the Duke of Brunswick. Soon after, buildings were constructed opposite the walls of Trinity College, Dublin, where the hotel now stands.
