Tehran
Tehran, sometimes spelled Teheran, is the capital of Iran and Tehran Province. With a population of 12,223,598 it is Iran's largest urban area and city, one of the largest cities in Western Asia. In the 20th and 21st centuries, Tehran has been the subject to mass migration of people from all around Iran. The city is home to many historic mosques, churches, synagogues and Zoroastrian fire temples.

The Assembly of Experts (also Assembly of Experts of the Leadership) of Iran, also translated as Council of Experts, is a deliberative body of Mujtahids (Islamic scholars) that is charged with electing and removing the Supreme Leader of Iran and supervising his activities. Members of the assembly are elected from lists of candidates by direct public vote for eight-year terms. The number of members has ranged from 82 elected in 1982 to 88 elected in 2006.
Amirkabir University of Technology
Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), formerly called the Tehran Polytechnic, is a public, research university located in Tehran, Iran. AUT is one of the most prestigious universities and the first established technical university in Iran, referred to as "Mother of Industrial Universities". The university was first founded by Habib Nafisi in 1958 and then developed by Dr. Mohammad Ali Mojtahedi, during the reign of the Pahlavi dynasty.

National Museum of Iran
The National Museum of Iran is a museum in Tehran, Iran. It is the combination of two museums, the old Muze-ye Irân-e Bâstân ("Archaeological Museum of Iran", a break, Sasanian revival building designed by André Godard and inaugurated in 1937), and the modernistic white travertine National Arts Museum ("Mūze-i Honar-i Millī"), inaugurated in 1972.

Imam Khomeini Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 1 and Tehran Metro Line 2. The station was opened in 21 February 2000, it is located in Imam Khomeini Square between Panzdah-e-Khordad Metro Station and Saadi Metro Station in Line 1 and Mellat Metro Station and Hasan Abad Metro Station in Line 2. This Station is 19 meters under ground and has elevator access.

Ministry of Industries and Mines (Iran)
Ministry of Industries and Mines of Iran, is the main organ of Iranian Government in charge of the regulation and implementation of policies applicable to industrial and mine sectors. Being originally under the ministry of Trade in 1906, it was formed under the title of Ministry of Industries and Mines in 1973, and later after a series of splits and merges, it was formed again by the merger of the ministry of Mines and Metals and the ministry of Industries in the year 2000.
Ministry of Roads and Transportation (Iran)
Ministry of Roads and Transportation of Iran, was the main organ of Iranian Government responsible for administration of roadway, railway, airway and seaway transport inside the country and transport connections between Iran and other countries. Currently its Acting minister is Ali Nikzad. In June 2011, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and the Ministry of Roads and Transportation were merged into the Ministry of Transportation and Housing.
2011 attack on the British Embassy in Iran
The 2011 attack on the British Embassy in Iran was a mob action on 29 November 2011 by a crowd of Iranian protesters who stormed the embassy and another British diplomatic compound in Tehran, Iran ransacking offices and stealing documents. One small building was set on fire during the incident and several people were injured.

The Tehran Peace Museum is a member of the International Network of Museums for Peace. The main objective of the museum is to promote a culture of peace through raising awareness about the devastating consequences of war, with a focus on the health and environmental impacts of Chemical weapons. Currently housed in a building donated by the municipality of Tehran within the historic City Park, the Tehran Peace Museum is as much an interactive peace center as a museum.

Vahdat Hall
Vahdat Hall or Talar-e Vahdat (built 1967) is an opera house in Tehran, Iran. Architect Aftandilian designed the building, partly modelled after the Vienna State Opera. Prior to 1979 it was known as Talar-e Rudaki. Among the performances: Dundee Repertory Theatre, Mohammad Esmaili, Parvaz Homay, Leningrad Ballet, Marcel Marceau, Bagher Moazen, Gorgin Mousissian's choir, Nour Ensemble, Pari Samar in Carmen, Tehran Symphony, Loris Tjeknavorian, Peyman Yazdanian.
Tehran City Theater
Tehran City Theater (opened ca. 1972) or Teatr-e Shahr is a performing arts complex in Tehran, Iran. Architect Ali Sardar Afkhami designed the main building in the 1960s, later expanded. The complex contains several performance spaces including Chaharsou Hall, Qashqai Hall, Sayeh Hall, and the Main Hall. Since 1979 the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has overseen its operation.
