Azadi Stadium
The Azadi Stadium formerly Aryamehr Stadium is Iran's national stadium and the largest in the country. The Azadi stadium was built to host the 1974 Asian Games and has a capacity of 84,412 people. The stadium is part of the much larger Azadi Sports Complex, and is surrounded by a rowing river, football training pitches, a weightlifting complex, swimming facilities and indoor volleyball and futsal courts, among many other amenities.
Offside (2006 Iranian film)
Offside is a 2006 Iranian film directed by Jafar Panahi, about girls who try to watch a World Cup qualifying match but are forbidden by law because of their sex. Female fans are not allowed to enter football stadiums in Iran on the grounds that there will be a high risk of violence or verbal abuse against them. The film was inspired by the director's daughter, who decided to attend a game anyway. The film was shot in Iran but its screening was banned there.

The Azadiye Stadium was a proposed new 40,000 seat covered stadium in Tehran, Iran. It is a set to be a purpose built sports complex to be used by women only. It was supposed to be completed in 2009 ahead of the Women's Islamic Games set to be held in Tehran. But, it never was. It was near the Azadi Stadium.
