Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County

Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén is the name of an administrative county in north-eastern Hungary (commonly called "Northern Hungary"), on the border with Slovakia. It shares borders with the Hungarian counties Nógrád, Heves, Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. The capital of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county is Miskolc. Szinva

Szinva is a stream in northern Hungary, a tributary to the river Sajó. It originates in the Bükk Mountains. It is 30 kilometres long, 20 kilometres of which can be found the city of Miskolc, through which the stream flows from west to east. More than 70 bridges were built over the stream, and in parts of the city centre it flows underground. The damming of the streams Szinva and Garadna formed Lake Hámori in Miskolc-Lillafüred around 1770.

Wooden Church, Miskolc

The Wooden Church (Deszkatemplom) is a church in Miskolc, Hungary. It is built of carved wood. The present building was built in 1999 in place of the previous one that was destroyed by arson in 1997. The first church was consecrated on September 13, 1637, but both this date and the existence of the church are preserved only in tradition and there is no documentary evidence. The first document mentioning a church at this site dates back to 1698.

Martintelep

Martintelep or Martin-Kertváros is a residential area of the city of Miskolc, Hungary. Unlike many other districts that are on the outskirts on the city, Martintelep has never been an independent town. The area was first mentioned in 1908 as the estate of Károly Martin near the classification yard. Léh
