Ladder Street
Ladder Street is a street in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, consisting entirely of stone steps. One of the most visited temples in Hong Kong, the Man Mo Temple, is on Hollywood Road at the corner of Ladder Street. There is also the oldest western hospital, the Tung Wah Hospital, and some funeral homes in the area. It is said that more than 100 years ago, when coolies died, their bodies were rested here for funeral services before they were carried back to their home villages back in China.

"Lascars" were seamen from South Asia, and particularly from the Indian subcontinent, who frequented the area, giving it a reputation for lawlessness and criminal behaviour. There was an Indian police dormitory in this street.
Man Mo Temple
A Man Mo Temple or Man Mo Miu is a temple for the worship of the civil or literature god Man Tai (文帝) / Man Cheong (文昌) and the martial god Mo Tai (武帝) / Kwan Tai (關帝). The two gods were popularly patronized by scholars and students seeking progress in their study or ranking in the civil examinations in the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are several Man Mo Temples in Hong Kong.
Aberdeen Street
Aberdeen Street is a border street dividing Sheung Wan and Choong Wan on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It ascends from Queen's Road Central to Caine Road in the Mid-levels. The street is named after George Hamilton-Gordon, 4th Earl of Aberdeen, Foreign Secretary at the time of the cession of Hong Kong Island to the United Kingdom in 1842.
Bonham Strand
Bonham Strand is a combination of two streets in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong: Bonham Strand (文咸東街) and Bonham Strand West (文咸西街). As the name suggested, it was a strand and close to shore in the past though it is pretty far from the seafront after several reclamations over a hundred years. This street renders the early shore line after 1842.

The lane is famous for stalls of chop-makers. The chops range from traditional Chinese seal to modern rubber stamps. Some stalls offer services to print various cards.

Tai Ping Shan Street is a street marking the early colonial history in Hong Kong. Located at the north slope of Victoria Peak in Sheung Wan, the street starts east from a ladder street at the junction with Bridges Street and end west in Po Yan Street near Tung Wah Hospital. The street runs parallel to Hollywood Road.
Gough Street
Gough Street is a street on Sheung Wan, Hong Kong just north of the Soho area of Central. It is connected to Shing Wong Street to the west and Aberdeen Street to the east. Historically, many printing presses were located on Gough Street. Kau Kee Restaurant, a noodle shop that specializes in beef brisket noodles in clear soup (清湯牛腩) is also located there.

Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail
The Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail was set up in November 1996 by the Central and Western District Council to commemorate the 130th birthday of Sun Yat-sen. It includes 15 spots in the areas of Central and Sheung Wan in Hong Kong, related to the life of Sun Yat-sen and other revolutionaries in the late Qing era. Originally the Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail, it was renovated and renamed and two spots (now the 1st and the 7th spots) were added to it when Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum was opened in 2006.
