Battle of Leipzig
The Battle of Leipzig or Battle of the Nations, was fought by the coalition armies of Russia, Prussia, Austria and Sweden against the French army of Napoleon at Leipzig, Saxony. Napoleon's army also contained Polish and Italian troops as well as Germans from the Confederation of the Rhine. The battle marked the culmination of the fall campaign of 1813 during the German campaign and involved over 600,000 soldiers, making it the largest battle in Europe prior to World War I.
Monument to the Battle of the Nations
The Monument to the Battle of the Nations is a monument in Leipzig, Germany to the 1813 Battle of Leipzig, also known as the Battle of the Nations. Paid for mostly by donations and by the city of Leipzig, it was completed in 1913 for the 100th anniversary of the battle, at a cost of 6,000,000 Goldmark.
Bruno-Plache-Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Leipzig, Germany. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Lokomotive Leipzig. The Botanischer Garten für Arznei- und Gewürzpflanzen Oberholz (2 hectares), or less formally the Botanischer Garten Oberholz, is a botanical garden specializing in medical plants and spices. It is located at Störmthaler Weg 2 in Oberholz, a small suburb southeast of Großpösna, Leipzig, Saxony, Germany, and open daily in the warmer months; admission is free.

Hugo Schneider AG
Hugo Schneider AG (HASAG) was a small German metal goods manufacturer founded in 1863. Based in Leipzig, it grew from a small business making lamps and other small metal products by hand into a large factory and publicly traded company that sold its wares in several countries around the world. During the First World War, it began making armaments, supplementing the loss of business caused by the war, a decision that ultimately increased the company's profitability.
