Rheinturm
The Rheinturm (Rhine Tower) is a 240.5 metre high concrete telecommunications tower in Düsseldorf, capital of the federal state (Bundesland) of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Construction commenced in 1979 and finished in 1981. The Rheinturm carries aerials for directional radio, FM and TV transmitters. It stands 174.5 metres high and houses a revolving restaurant and an observation deck at a height of 170 metres. It is the tallest building in Düsseldorf.
Düssel
The Düssel is a small right tributary of the River Rhine in North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. Its source is between Wülfrath and Velbert. It flows westward through the Neander Valley where the fossils of the first Neanderthal man were found in 1856. At Düsseldorf it forms a river delta by splitting into four streams (Nördliche Düssel, Südliche Düssel, Kittelbach, Brückerbach), which all join the Rhine after a few kilometers.

The NRW Forum Wirtschaft und Kultur or Forum NRW is a museum in Düsseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westfalia, dealing with the development and the economy of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia or regions within it, e.g. the Rhine-Ruhr-region. It is located in the Ehrenhof complex, built by Wilhelm Kreis in 1925-26, which also houses the museum kunst palast.

One of the three European central offices of Vodafone is in Carlstadt. The Heinrich Heine Institute and the Robert Schumann Society are in Carlstadt.
Theodor Heuss Bridge (Düsseldorf)
The Theodor Heuss Bridge also known as the Nordbrücke (North bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge over the Rhine River in Düsseldorf built from 1953 to 1957 with a main span of 260 m flanked on either side by spans of 108 m . It was the first cable-stayed bridge built in Germany. Along with two other cable-stayed bridges to the south, the Oberkassel Bridge and the Knie Bridge, the Theodor Heuss Bridge forms the central leg of Düsseldorf's family of bridges over the Rhine.
Düsseldorf-Hamm
Hamm is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. To separate it from the Westphalian City Hamm, locals often call it Kappes-Hamm (Kappes is the word for kale in the local dialect). Hamm is located on the River Rhine, neighboring to the boroughs Bilk, Volmerswerth, and the central harbour of Düsseldorf. It has about 3,700 inhabitants and is one of the smallest boroughs of Düsseldorf.

Düsseldorf-Hafen means the harbour of Düsseldorf. More than that, Hafen is the name of the Düsseldorf district in which the harbour is located. The borough covers 3.85 km, but there were only 212 inhabitants in the year 2000. With 55 inhabitants per km², this is the thinnest density of population in Düsseldorf. For decades the harbour has been an area of workers, industry and trade.
Düsseldorf-Niederkassel
Niederkassel is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It is on the left side of the river Rhine, bordering to Oberkassel and Lörick. Niederkassel was together with Oberkassel and Lörick a part of Heerdt until Heerdt became a part of Düsseldorf in 1909. Niederkassel got its connection to Düsseldorf when the Oberkassel Bridge was opened in 1898. In the beginning of the 20th century Oberkassel and Niederkassel were places where a lot of artists lived.

Lörick is an urban borough of Düsseldorf, Germany. It is located on the left side of the river Rhine, bordering to the river, Niederkassel, Heerdt and Meerbusch. Lörick was a small village belonging to the office of Heerdt until there was a connection via the Oberkassel Bridge to Düsseldorf in 1898. In 1909 Lörick became, together with Heerdt, a part of Düsseldorf. Lörick became a typical suburb.
Rheinufer Tunnel
The Rheinufer Tunnel (German: Rheinufertunnel or "Rhine Bank Tunnel") is a road tunnel in Düsseldorf, Germany. The tunnel is part of the B1 German federal road. At 2 km long, it is the sixth longest inner city tunnel in Europe. The tunnel runs under the Rhine Promenade near the right hand bank of Rhine. The impressive southern entrance of the tunnel is marked by a tall building, the Düsseldorf Stadttor (city gate). The northern entrance is just south of the Oberkassel Bridge.
Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia
The Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia is the state diet of the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It convenes in Düsseldorf and currently consists of 237 members from five parties. The current parties of government are a coalition of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Alliance '90/The Greens (Die Grünen), supporting the cabinet of minister-president Hannelore Kraft.

It takes place every third week in July on the left bank of the Rhine River, in the district Düsseldorf-Oberkassel, and features beer and food tents, amusement park rides, vendors, etc. as well as 9 days of various associated events and activities.

Stadttor
Stadttor is a 20-storey 84 m skyscraper in Unterbilk neighborhood of Düsseldorf, Germany. The building was designed by Düsseldorf-based architecture firm Petzinka, Overdiek und Partner and completed in 1998. It marks the Southern entrance of Rheinufertunnel, which is also reason for its parallelogram-shaped floor plan. The building features a 15-story atrium and a double-facades, allowing natural ventilation even on higher elevation floors. The total gross floor area is some 30,000 m .
Neuer Zollhof
Neuer Zollhof or Der Neue Zollhof (The New Zollhof), located at Neuer Zollhof 2-6, Unterbilk, is a prominent landmark of Media Harbor, part of the redeveloped port of Düsseldorf, Germany. The building complex consisting of three separate buildings, was designed by American architect Frank O. Gehry and completed in 1998. Floorplans and facades of all three buildings curve and lean, reason for them being likened to leaning towers. The tallest building is 14 stories high and just under 50 m tall.
Düsseldorf Völklinger Straße station
Düsseldorf Völklinger Straße station is a through station in the district of Unterbilk in the city of Düsseldorf in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The station was opened on 29 May 1988 on the new line opened by the Prussian state railways on 1 October 1891 between the Hamm Railway bridge and Gerresheim as part of the construction of Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.

Düsseldorf-Hamm station is about 5 kilometres southwest of Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof in the Düsseldorf district of Hamm in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Mönchengladbach–Düsseldorf railway and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station. The station opened on 29 May 1988. Apart from Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn services it is served by a tram line and a bus line.
